Lots of choices here. I actually liked the breakfast the best at Shady Maple and David liked the lunch the best. It's a huge smorgasbord. Something for everyone!
This buffet looks great. That big steak makes the buffet price a good deal. Everything looked delicious. I can see why Shady Maple Smorgasbord is so popular!
If you take into consideration the items being cooked to order for you on those grills, the price was not bad. My steak was very good. With all the other food to choose from and steaks on the menu the value wasn't bad. The food was pretty good and if you leave hungry it was your own fault. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. If you are in the area you may also want to check out two other restaurants we really enjoyed: Dienner's Country Restaurant and Hometown Kitchen. Man, I had forgotten just how big that place is! Food looked really good. If anyone leaves this place hungry, it’s their own fault! A person could spend hours in there and not sample everything they have to offer. Another great video. Thanks for sharing.

I am unable to answer because I have not been to Millers. I have tried other Amish restaurants in the area and I would say that there are better tasting ones in the area.

That place looks like a great place to eat. With all that food selection, they got to have maybe the biggest restaurant kitchen you would think. Big bunch of cooks and prep folks too. Very good video. Thank You.
That actually looks like a fairly edible buffet. But the real lunch price is a better value (even without the steaks), and the best food at these Amish places is the breakfast!

When they rung us up and I paid, I questioned the price I was charged. I wasn't going to argue with the cashier. She said that it was considered a holiday and that the dinner menu was being served all day. I do know that they serve steaks on the dinner menu for Monday nights, and we were able to get them at lunch time. I will have to check out the website for myself and see what it says. @@mikeymutual5489 Very true! The customer can choose not to eat there if they don't like the price. However when you are on vacation and you have planned that into your day and you have limited days we just went with it. Didn't break us but might have went a different day for the actual lunch price and experience.
@@vafunseekers I certainly would have been OK with it too. Columbus Day is indeed a national holiday, and it is perfectly understandable if they wanted to charge more on that day. At least you got a steak to go along with the higher price!
