Thanks man..same here. The track is a lot of fun..it will do a # on your rig when your learning it because the jumps are HUGE. Its a really fast track.
I did...gotta pull it apart...only got 6 laps in all day! The black truck broke rear a arm..he brought some new turtle ones to replace so he was good to go
@sick N Tired Rc I was curious how your Vertigo Clutch is holding up on your Baja? I was thinking of ordering one but I am having a hard time finding a good video on one installed and how good they actually are. How much improvement did you receive in performance after install? Are they actually a good investment?
By far the best money ive spent on that baja..its the only thing i havent had an issue with since installing it..it uas made that baja reliable in an area that normally fails.. I have a video about it way back if you look though them..you may have to skip to middle of the video. I got mine direct from vertigo on sale for $99. And if you watch the videos that follow i talked more about it...honestly though you dont need too..its worth every penny...however o did have issues with install due to gear mesh..and vertigo reminded me it was designed based hpi baja not rovan and that others had to put pressure on rear diff/trans forward and then tighten bolts under the chassis that hold it inm.i ended up having to put two put a shim each rear trans bolt to essentially lift the rear of it. He also said it coule be due to my baja not being brand new and bent in areas
@@ThePonyboy50 Really, I swear I looked at your vids and didnt see an update but thanks for the info. I will double check. As for the shims. Im wondering if I will have to do the same or perhaps they corrected this by now in the design? But thank you so much for getting back to me I really appreciate it.
Ya i think your right ..i looked at them on their site the other day to get an idea on pricing. Theres a few other things i need before the next track day and only have a few weeks...a real deal steering servo is a must so i have to figure out how much im willing to spend this time around ..its looking like i need to dump about $400 into it all together
