@@guillermogarciarabia4438 walbro 990 now but I believe I was running the Rovan generic carb that comes with there 30.5cc engines at this time...not sure. I would have to go thru the build up process videos
i'm still kicking... and still got my 5th scales...after I bought my house, I spent a year or more doing house things, and then bought a 90 Mustang and have been building that for the last few years.... it's about done, filmed most of it and may launch a channel for that... but also plan to dust these rigs off and get them all back in good running condition...just not enough time in the day. .. but i'll be back :) thank you

Ya you found the right FB page ..but I think they're done ...this is the first and last of the G5's you'll see here in the states ...the guy behind this knew he over stepped his boundaries when he made this clone and Kraken along with the community let him know as well

You have a Ghost G5, If anybody give you static tell them to shove it! It's your money not theirs, Kraken is still raking in the money on the Vekta.5 so I doubt a handful of G5's that ever made it to the wild even put a smudge on K's profits
Dude 3 years later, your video confirmed as well my suspicions, you also had the same issue as me, my 29ccs HATE the 1107, you can get insane trying to tune it, everyone praises the 1107 in the forums but for under 32cc; the 1107 simply isnt good. My cars would just bog down and lack any bottom end I had to lean them so much that it was dangerously close to seizing. Swapped both 1107 for a 668 and a 998, piece of cake, 0 issues even with stock settings
Luckily your air filter is on an angle not like Rovan's baja being straight out because the air filter hits these fuel lines. Not sure why Rovan doesn't move the tank grommet over .

Long story..but the short of it is it came from Ghost Racing..aka Area RC aka SCZ racing aka Trevor Shen lol. If you search any of those names on Facebook you can find him. They like to communicate via what's app.
@@donniep90 that's why i said it was a long story..i got two of these in place of SCZ engines I ordered that they couldnt deliver on "after month of waiting".. so i got a deal that they wouldnt never make again.
Sounds great man! Best pipe for the Vekta in my opinion. Mine is crazy loud! As far as your bracket… you’re missing two studded rubber bushings that ship with the pipe. On the antenna I totally agree.. not well thought out at all! I just heated the tube with a heat gun and rolled it forward on a 90. Not sure what’s up with the shocks though.. mine are straight up stock and the thing is a marshmallow!
Thanks for commenting man..that's what I needed to know...great idea on the antenna tube..I'm def gonna do the same ..thanks. that makes sense..that im missing bushings..I'm def gonna lodge a complaint with buddy who sold it to me...I have some solid metal bushings I can use for now when I find some longer hardware. Good to know on the springs..mine being a clone I've been waiting to see what differences there are..and that's def one..if yours are soft..because you seen how hard it hit in the video..it's the same with the engine and pipe mounted
@@diytypeofguy6502 that's how I'm gonna mount it..I have some solid billet spacer type things just need to find longer hardware..but if u find them send'm..def rather have it mounted with some cushion for the pushing
That sucks man! Whenever I take a couple of months break from my rigs then start back with some routine maintenance, something just like this happens to me also. Simple wrenching turn into a nightmare sometimes. I hate when a ten minute job turns into a 2-3 hour marathon. It’s just part of the hobby.
Ya I think I'm gonna do it..just like RC when I first got involved the Foxbody channels are blowing up...this one might be worth monetizing for that reason. Now the tracks gone I don't feel like I would have any content worthy of making videos on any regular basis ..maybe a run video here and there but that's about it .or a hey this is what I got for it and this is how I fixed it type shit. This build on the car is going to be a big deal for me so I really want to document it..once I figure out which way I'm going with it and where to begin..working on that now. I would def like to watch what you got going on after some of the videos you've showed me..so I say go for it.
