Of all the years I've lived here, I've never been to Shaggy's (that I can remembe). I'm pretty partial to Woody's Roadside Bar & Grille. I'll have to check out Shaggy's one day, the food looks pretty tasty.
Well, I have heard a lot about Woody’s as well. I will have to put that on the list. I drive by the one in Ocean Springs a lot, just haven’t gone yet. I was definitely impressed with the flavor of both dishes we ordered at Shaggy’s. It is going to get hard to say what is my favorite. I am starting a beat of the best series. No so much a ranked top 10, but more a “You Can’t Go Wrong” if you ate here. Your comment is greatly appreciated.
We go to Bay Saint Louis and the one place we always eat is Shaggys, and Cuzs. These are the reasons we make the 6 hour trip from Tennessee, good food and a great place to visit without all the hoopla you have in other areas on the gulf.
I love the fact that it's not so touristy...I went 4 times in the past year . Hope to semi retire around there very soon . Most beautiful part of the gulf coast , imo !!!
@@tracypage1953 The Mississippi Gulf Coast is one of the best kept secrets. There are so many things to do and the people are so nice. We hope to spend some more time there and hit several more restaurants. But, Shaggy's was a highlight. Still a favorite favorite place to eat. Definitely a centrally located vacation spot between New Orleans and Pensacola.
