ngredients:
For Thicken milk /Rabri
-Milk 3 cups
-Sugar 6 tbs
-Saffron a pinch
-Almonds chopped 1 tbs
-Pistachio chopped 1 tbs
-Milk powder 1/4 cup
-Cream 1/2 cup
For Sugar Syrup
-Water 1/2 cup
-Sugar 1/2 cup
-Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
-Bread slices 4-6
-Oil / Ghee for frying 1/2 cup
-Pistachios for garnishing
Directions:
-In a wok, add milk, sugar, Saffron and cook until milk is redued to 2 cups.
-Add almonds and pistachios.
-Add dry milk powder and mix well.
-Add cream , mix well and set aside.
For Sugar Syrup
-In a sauce pan, add water, sugar , cardamom powder, mix and cook until syrup is thickens.
-In a frying pan , heat oil or ghee and fry bread slices until crispy and golden brown.
Assembling:
-Dip the bread slices into sugar syrup and arrange in the serving dish. Pour the thickened milk on the bread slices / in the dish.
-Garnish with some chopped pistachios.
-Serve & Enjoy!
