This song is from my album "Songs For The Inner Child". It is the first song I wrote, to soothe my daughter to sleep when she was a restless baby. I was singing this song to my son some years later when the inspiration for "Songs For The Inner Child" came to me...the idea that there were adults who had never been sung to as children who could be gifted by the songs I sang to my children.
I'm pleased to be able to offer the song through this lovely video, in case it has any gifts for you.

I usually sing and dedicate this to my inner child, but at the moment my grandmother needs this. She’s been stuck in the house in the same chair for 10 year, she has COPD and emphysema and other issues, she’s the strongest lady I’v ever met. She’s 81 and I saw her cry and breakdown today because of her depression. My mother and father caused me a lot of trauma, if it wasn’t for my grandparents showing me love and nurture i wouldn’t have survived this long. 🤍

I just stumbled across this beautiful music as my husband was dividing my son’s ashes into smaller containers for our daughters. “Peace” was always my son’s parting remark to those he cared for. My son sent me this song at this sacred time. It is simply perfect. Thank you. 🍃🙏🏼🍃

I understand, Irene...many people have that response to the song...thank you for telling me it touched you in this way. There's a lot of tenderness and gentleness in the song, more than many of us experienced as children; sometimes that can lead to tears, which can be cleansing and releasing...💙

Thank you xx. I was sadly emotionally abused, traumatised by my parents & 2 brothers & sadly in the end, I had to cut them out of my life. Sadly because of this abuse, I ended up with Complex Ptsd. I sometimes have nightmares where my family are attacking me. I cried listening to this beautiful song but they were tears of Healing & Joy & this beautiful song soothed me. I have been struggling with OCD, more exactly with scrupulosity since over a year. My mom played this to me during a time when it was really really bad and ever since it’s so soothing to me and my inner child, especially suring times when it’s so scared. I even sing this song sometimes when I feel scared or anxious and it soothes me. I am so grateful for this beautiful song, such a blessing. Lots of love to everyone who sees this ❤
