It makes me so sad that Disney never released a full version of this song. Even when the movie was newly out it was impossible to find a full version of it. Sadly, 19 years later we're still out of luck.

As a white child i thought to myself watching this movie "latinas are so beautiful and have so much culture" you just automatically notice it, its so different than white people it kind of made me more proud that i look alot like my native american mom. Im considered white bc of my skin tho
Does anyone know the name of one of the songs played during a scene where the girls are practising or auditioning ?, I think it had what’d be called a strong ‘ drum and bass’ like sound to it.
She was hired to do the songs for the movie and not because these were songs she had out there. Disney retains all rights to the songs. My guess it’s a way to avoid paying royalties.
