Ramanujan created theorems , formulae and unlocked secrets of the universe. Shakuntala devi was Human Machine in Calculation . She could not create theorems or find new postulates of the universe. She could calculate in seconds what a normal mathematician would take hours or even days.

The part about not passing on the techniques to the rest of the world is fairly correct. But I disagree with your statement regarding it as "being selfish on her part". According to me,she wasn't bound to pass them on,nor could one use and convert this natural,god given talents for the use of normal people with the help of various artificial scientific formulas. Though I believe that passing on how her brain reacts to the numbers she sees on the board,and what she sees in the inward eye of her mind while performing calculations mentally,would have done us much good. Scientists could have studied the various scientific features of a highly intelligent brain and even mathematicians could have used these techniques. But u shouldn't refer to that as being "very selfish" as she was not bound to or responsible for passing her methods on. I just commented what felt right to me.

@@minyoonkigenius8077 We have no major evidences of conducting shows or classes of her tricks and tips. Surely there had to be techniques behind all these aided by her extremely responsive brain. What I mean is, she should have contributed more to Mathematics, rather than just conducting shows all over the world 💸.

That had been rather self oriented on her part,but even still,we can't put blame on her and should rather enjoy what she has put up for all of us to see. She is faster than calculator.... Bcoz as we puts digits in calculator it starts calculating in process of typing digits.... But she gives answer by just looking at the question and she turns back when man is writing a question....
