Im a Shakur fan but i like the fact Martin said he willing to fight whoever and not ducking anybody..most of these boxers now days be cherry picking opponents tryna stay undefeated

Frank has all of the tools to do something that not many fighters can do to Shakur: MAKE HIM UNCOMFORTABLE. He’s got the size, skill, speed to stay in his chest all night and get in and out of range. Don’t forget that Shakur admitted that Jeremiah Nakathalia made him uncomfortable, and that performance became shakurs most criticized performance to date. Not saying Frank wins but he can make it interesting. If Shakur makes easy work of Frank then he probably sweeps 135 bar none, Frank ain’t no joke

You could probly count the amount of clean punches nakathila landed on shakur in 12 rounds on one hand. Shakur was criticized for not putting more offense up, not because nakathila was making it competitive. That guy was shadow boxing all night. Plus that was at least two years ago. That’s not a great point to make in an argument for whether frank can win or make it competitive.
@@Supersupremegang I’ve thought this for a while about Shakur. Especially when he was at 130. I remember he would headline main events and there would be all this hype and promotion and the fight would just be a snooze fest. Especially against Toka Khan Clary. He wasn’t impressive to me. I only gained true respect for Shakur after the Valdez fight and then his fights afterwards. I think he is a top fighter, but we’ll see how good he truly is.

The reason why this is such a good fight is cuz franks been proving himself at 135 and shakur already proved himself at 130 but only fought once in yoshino at 135. Franks been a very explosive puncher putting most of his opposition on the canvas

Yes I absolutely agree that it would've been better if Keyshawn Davis fought Frank Martin. I just think the fight would be more competitive and there's already animosity between the two. We all know that Shakur vs Frank will mostly be one sided because Shakur is the best fighter at this time, he's a master boxer!!
I think Shakur punish him. Simply off the fact thats Bud lil brother, he say he sparred with him a million times. But i like Martin he a great fighter, but i watched him kind of run into some problems with other fighters of a way lesser skill than Shakur. Like Marinez or something like that was giving him a good fight
Once again, PBC allows one of their fighters to fight on a Top Rank card. Not once has Top Rank allowed any of their fighters to fight on a PBC card... And don't talk about Tyson Fury. The 2nd and 3rd Fury/Wilder fights were co-promotions and Fury had all ready fought the first Wilder fight on PBC before signing an American contract with Top Rank. Yet PBC is ALWAYS blamed for holding up fights between their fighters and other promotional companies...specifically Top Rank. The FACTS prove otherwise 🤔
