For Shakur to have an all-time great 2X undisputed champion to learn from and get tutelage from is just spectacular for his career. Bud's one of the best to ever do it. It's great to see how close they are and that Crawford team is special. Looking forward to see what Shakur does in the future and also Keyshawn Davis as well.
Shakur is a very smart young man and he gives a great interview. He's always on point when answering questions and I learn when listening to him. He's the future of boxing.
He and Bud are the cream of their divisions right now. With Shak it's less proven but I have him beating everyone at 135. I see if for Ennis too maybe as far as 160, but he isn't there yet. As far as future of boxing I agree depending on exactly what is meant. In terms of potential to one day be *the* face of boxing in the way Tank or Canelo is now, I agree. Some of that is circumstantial and comes down to raw marketability and "it" factor. E.g. Inoue, great as he is, will never be *the* face and will remain one for the purists. It's a lot of things - language barrier, demeanor, the lesser glamour status of lighter divisions, even persisting Asian stereotypes in the West. But I do think Shakur has it.
😆🤷How is it Crazy....Errol has been open for being countered all his boxing career.....TRY to follow what I'm saying . Matthew Sad Muhammad (aka Matthew Franklin) was very similar. And when he face The Camden Buzzsaw(Dwight Braxton)..Braxton made him pay for all his lack of defense 💥🤯

Buds timing was crazy during the fight its like after the 3rd round, he knew the exact moment errol was about to throw and he timed it perfectly and used his speed to beat him to the punch and errol is no push over he gave mayweather good work when they sparred so that says alot

Are u just a Bud hater, both Bud and Errol are 2 of my favorite active fighters so for me it was may the best fighter win, with respect to both regardless of who won or lost, boxing won wit that fight. And u talkin like u was in floyd's gym and seen the sparring session. Everyone heard it from the horse's mouth moneymay himself said errol gave him a hell of a sparring session. Errol had a bad night in the ring on Saturday but he still a hell of a fighter who just beat 3 champs back to back to back b4 Saturdays fight, and that just shows Bud's greatness, And one more thing Pacquiao ducked Bud, but accepted to fight Errol before the injury got Ugas as a replacement for that fight.
I agree he do talk a lot of shit but it’s super expected when your that damn skilled and been in many doors and gyms that a lot of people never been in! Olympian etc… wishing him the best a fight with him vs Tank would be legendary just like Spense vs Bud was!

The sheer power he was hitting Spence with was Tremendous. Sweat and blood were flying 😳 it was crazy. Its a damn shame i dont gamble because i said bud inside 9 on a few different platforms.

I saw people running at the mouth because Bud was sparring with Shakur, too. But, I was thinking, "Shakur is a better boxer than Spence, and he's a south paw".
I immediately knew why bud had shakur in there: 1. Distance 2. Issue spotting He wasn't sure, how hard EJ hit so he wanted to ready to fight to have his distance acquisition down pact. Yall know how Bud usually get cracked early in fights? It's usually because he either gets his distance wrong or is trying to get it established. Against EJ, he used the first round to get the distance down and the timing. He also wanted shakur to test his defense and to see if he was making any routine flaws. That's why his defense was so top notch inside and outside, he was sharp from working out the kinks. I fw their relationship. They think and speak so highly of one another. Crazy that they didn't even grow up together.

Bud kept sparring Shakur because Shakir is a Southpaw and fights similar to Spence. And it all paid off. Bud was practicing his right power jab on Shakur because he's a Southpaw.

I remember the first time I watched Bud fight, his style got me excited about the game of boxing again,...he reminded me of Pernell Whitaker. Floyd's style of fighting is very painful to watch,...he just runs and runs and runs and at the end lifts up his hand and wins the fight,...Floyd almost got me uninterested in boxing. Thank God for Bud!!!

Look it up, the very first fight hype video where it was rumored Bud brought Shakur into camp, along with Willie Monroe to spar, I said exactly what Shakur said: “He will be THE PERFECT sparring partner not by size, but by being a southpaw (like Errol), but one that has arguably the BEST IQ in the game aside from Bud at any weight class. I said Shakur’s speed, feet and brain is primarily to give Bud all the looks he can possibly get from Derrick James and Errol AND SOME and casuals came for me saying “im crazy” “they ain’t in the same weight class “ Around the same time I was first to predict Bud will stop him in the 9th before the Championship rounds commence and I was right again. i was guilty of what Shakur said. I said that Shakur has the IQ to replicate spences style but i didn't think that the power would transfer. When i saw Crawford in the first two rounds i saw so much of Shakur and it all started to make sense. Shakur defo deserves his Flowers because the defence aspect of this fight was a lot of shakurs strong points. ✊🏾
The crazy part is after the fight all the Spence fans are saying he didn't look the same, which is proof that they don't pay attention to boxing really. Errol was exactly the same as when he fought Ugas. If you watch that fight, Spence was getting hit a lot and open for counters, but the big difference was that Ugas is not as powerful or skilled as Bud. A lot of opportunities was there for Ugas, but he wasn't as fast as Bud either. They stayed in the pocket for the majority of the fight. Even so, if Ugas had as much power as Bud, some of those shots he hit Spence with would of hurt him worse. Spence just had more power than Ugas. Bud proved he's levels above...and the Spence fans making excuses can't accept it
Crawfords performance was Sensational and the best ive seen in a Championship fight, better than any Mayweather and Roy Jones Jr fight, i dont say that lightly

Boxing is an art , a fighter doesn’t necessarily have to spar a person that’s physically similar to his opponent, more so need a person with high boxing IQ & experience . It’s simple Errol found out the hard way he can’t just bully a guy like Crawford . Also Typically when a fighter is masterful at switching stances more times than not his 1 , 2 is lethal, Errol didn’t know which hand was the lead hand , he was just getting whooped

THIS is how the boxers die in the ring.. Ali passed all of his physicals & he fought larry holmes with psrkinsons. When money this big is on the line, no ones gonna stop it.
