I love your hair! I am very very gray without dying my hair....but not sure it is all gray. I've sometimes thought about just growing it out and go gray but I'm always nervous....then I saw your hair and it's sooo pretty. maybe someday i will try.

How long did it take to grow it out?

You should definitely try growing it out once you are ready to make the transition. It does take time. I had my stylist add in highlights and lightened all of my head so that the demarcation line of the white/gray wouldn't be so strong. But then I just went with it. It took a couple of years, but it was worth it!

Could I start using the BTW shampoo for grey hair if I only have a few months growth? The rest of my hair is a brown color? I decided to go grey a few months ago because I'm so tired of coloring it. But now I discover that taking care of grey hair may be a chore. A little disheartening, but not enough to discourage me from continuing the grey journey. I'm grateful for the shampoo/conditioner recommendation. I'm going to try the BTW if it works with my brown. Thanks so much for this very helpful video!

Hello, Thank you for the SPD by the way. You haven't posted any recently, maybe you don't need to, but I have a question. Do children with SPD punch their fists and disobey and stomp their feet when they don't get their own way? If so, how do I deal with this, since this behavior is not ok. I understand they are processing things differently, but the disobedience just fires me up. I remain calm and try to figure out what I am supposed to do, but is this just part of transition?

I always try to validate their feelings and help them find different ways to communicate frustrations. For a child who is non-verbal, this can be very difficult, but if you have a child who is able to communicate, I would recommend giving him/her appropriate words to use to explain frustration ("I'm angry." "That's not fair." etc)
