A group of Muslims came to al-Hasan al-Basri seeking a verdict to rebel against al-Hajjaj, he was a tyrannical and despotic general. So they said, *O Abu Said. What do you say about fighting this oppressor who has unlawfully spilt blood and unlawfully taken wealth and has done this and done that* ? So al-Hasan said, I hold that he should not be fought. *If this is a punishment from Allah, then you will not be able to remove it with your swords. If this is a trial from Allah, then be patient until Allah's judgement comes, and He is the best of judges* ... So they left al-Hasan, disagreed with him and rebelled against al-Hajjaj, so al-Hajjaj killed them all. Al-Hasan used to say, *if the people had patience when they are being tested by their unjust ruler, it will not be long before Allah will give them a way out. However, they always rush for their swords, so they are left with their swords. By Allah. Not even for a single day did they bring about any good* .... Sheikh Islam Ibn Tamiyyah, rahimahullah, said, *And whoever reflects upon the authentic narrations that are established from the Prophet concerning this topic, and also considers with the consideration of those with insight and deep knowledge, will know that that which the Prophetic texts have come with is from the best of all affairs* .... We have to seek knowledge.!

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him said, Whoever sees from his leader something that he dislikes, then let him be patient with him because whosoever separates from the jamā’ah (i.e. the body of Muslims in a country) even by a handspan, and then dies in that condition, he will die the death of pre-Islamic ignorance (jāhiliyyah). And other ahadiths. Ahmad ibn Hanbal, rahimahullah, in Usul sunnah, said, It is not permissible for anyone among the people to fight the ruler and nor to rise up against him. And whosoever does that is an innovator, upon other than the Sunnah and upon other than the Straight Path. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon, said. You are obligated to listen to the ruler and obey him in times of ease and in times of hardship, whether you are pleased or displeased and even when another person is given preference over you (while you were more deserving). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, Listen to the ruler and obey him when it is hard for you and when it is easy for you, whether you are pleased or displeased, and when others are given preference over you, *and even when they consume your wealth and beat your back* ..
Okay so what about Hazrat Imam Hussain R.A he challenged a ruler cum oppressor of his times ? N all prophets pbuh tradition is Same they challenged the oppressors take Musa AS take Ibrahim AS. If you say that is *lame* as you stated, that is kufr, which takes someone out of the fold of Islam, but if you say, no, i did not mean that, that makes you a mubtadi'. Whatever, Abul Qasim, blessings and salutations upon him, says, we say, *We hear and Obey* ... But, we believe, you are coming from ignorance, with the help of Allah, we will explain this once and for all. *Proof in Islamic Law is the saying of Allah, His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, and the agreement by consensus* ... It is true that some among the early Salaf rose up against the tyranny of some of the rulers. However, this was before the agreement by consensus was established. In the beginning, when the fitnah began, there was some misunderstanding among a small number of the virtuous Sahabah and some of the Tabeen, may Allah be pleased with them all. However, a large number from the Sahabah and the Imams of the Taeen returned to the sayings of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, for guidance. *And it was this guidance that won the day in the end, and from it, a consensus was achieved* ....

This is the word of the Messenger of God. Follow it, the Muslim will succeed. He submits to God alone, and follows the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the righteous predecessors (Slaf)
you just strawman his entire arguement. basic rebellion has so place in islam especially when it brings more disunification and death of the people. But there are conditions, and we are at best allowed to teach the people and, and privately address these issues to the leaders face to face, if they are not willing to listen or better there ways the most we can do according to the prophet and his actions is to remain patient or leave, like he did when he first received revelation.
look at syria right now. its leader, al assad is an aliwite and upon misguidance and kufr by his action. a group of his population got up and as you said "said something about al assad" rose up and took up arms (free syrian army), which has therefore led to the entire countries demise and destruction. why do you not praise it?

Türkiye in it’s current state isn’t an Islamic country, but is on its slow progress road to it with the President slowly pushing on it and pushing out the “Atatürk” (disgrace to the name) teachings. It is also hinted & mentioned in few public speeches that the plan is for the Osmanlı family to be on top of our heads again, but they received lots of backlash by the brainwashed secular Turks that’s been derived by generations of Kemalist Ideology being on top which is now rapidly ending, so much to it. Even indirectly insulting Mustafa Kemal. A Imam at Hagia Sofia (when it first opened) calling the one that turned the Mosque into a Museum (literally Mustafa Kemal A) Zalim & Kafir with Erdoğan there and not saying anything, once again receiving backlash for this. So it’s a slow process, but something which we believe will happen, and then inşAllah the Mehdi AS.
Shamsi dealt with this arrogant brother well. Unfortunately the brother came to Shamsi with bad energy and he was quite arrogant, always grinning scornfully and accusing Shamsi of avoiding the question when Shamsi was breaking down the answer to him. Muslims should show good manners when they are talking to non-believers, so no doubt they should show even more manners when they are talking to fellow muslims. The brothers approach towards Shamsi was quite disrespectful, but at least in the end he became more respectful,may Allah guide him and all of us. But I do not necessarily agree with Shamsi's criticism of the Sheikhs when they send their children to the West. What is the issue with sending some of your children to the West to study? Most people in the muslim world do this if they have the money, so why can't the Sheikhs send their children there as well? In the end,we should thank Shamsi for the effort he puts into the Dawah.

Don't obey if the leader ask u to commit sins and there r condition before u rebel... I remember hearing Shamsi said that u must need a good leader for replacement before u rebel not just rebel for the sake of rebelling... The guy cut him off before he continue the condition.
I don't understand what he was talking about prostating before anyone out of respect isn't a shirk, then you are giving that respect to that man irrespective of Allah... If someone is forcing you then i can understand it isn't....
He said it is an act of kufur but it doesnt make you a kafir if you didn't know it was haram or didn't do it out of worship. Remember every action is based on it's intention.
