On the bright side he is a defensive back. Torrian gray is our defensive backs coach, and he is one of the few coaches we have that have proven to be able to coach up the three stars. He has done great work with jaylan foster, damani staley , Darius rush, nick emannwori, and dq smith who were all three stars or lower out of high school.

No one takes USC jr serious. We are talking about that has only been to 25 bowl games in their existence with a record of 10-15. Why would anyone want to go there if they have a chance to go to Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama or even Florida? You're acting like USC jr is superior to Missouri. That coach is light years better than Beamer.

Jackpot, not looking good for Carolina. We just picked up another OL Keiton Jones from Kansas, will be used for guard, rated 3 star but had offers from Bama, Oregon, Okie as well Kansas State list goes on. We have the 12th rated recruiting class in country and have 1 more coming in.

OK, I am done. I am completely done. After 30+ years of being a gamecock fan, I have reached the end of my rope. I have never spoken of this before, but I lift weights. Specifically, I lift free weights and not machines. There is a huge difference between using free weights and using machines. When people claim they lift weighs, often times they are talking about machines. I don’t use machines, I use free weights and there’s a big difference between the two. From now on, whenever I see a Georgia fan I am going to confront them. I will not instigate anything, but I will confront them and let them know who I am and I will tell them that I lift weights and they better show me respect. I am tired of this. I remember after the Georgia game in 2012, I was extremely happy, but that has all dissipated now. I don’t lift free weights just to do them. Any Georgia fan is fair game for me from here on out. I’m done.
This will continue to happen until we start winning. I think Kirby is doing it because he can. We can be pissed but, competing with UGA for recruits especially like this one is going to be hard. We have nothing to show but that things will get better.

Beamer is proving that he’s not capable of running his own program. He won largely off the backs of Muschamp’s players. Nobody inside the fanbase likes to admit this, but Muschamp actually left behind some pretty talented players to work with. We are way less talented coming into this year than in 2022 and it’s only going to get tougher
If those players were so talented why did they go 4-8 and 2-8? The majority hit the exit door with muschamp, only a handful of guys with character like DK stuck around.
@@stevena55 Kevin Harris, MarShawn Lloyd, Zaquandre White, Jalen Brooks, Xavier Legette, Josh Vann, Jaheim Bell, Nick Muse, Jovaughan Gwyn, Zacch Pickens, Jordan Burch, Kingsley Enagbare, Cam Smith, Darius Rush, and Marcellus Dial were all Muschamp recruits and stuck around and contributed on Beamer’s first couple teams. The QB situation was a mess post-Muschamp so Beamer deserves credit for bringing Rattler in, but he had plenty of talented players to work with upon arrival. I’m just worried that we haven’t adequately developed and replaced that talent as the roster has turned over to the players he’s responsible for bringing in
Sad part is the state of the gamecocks will never change. No investment in facilities nor upgrades to stadium, and no interest from collectives to invest because it’s a lost cause for any coach to take job. It’s over!!!
Well, you are where we were with JP in 2020. Use this season to see what talent you have on the field, especially good to do during turbulent seasons. Remember them. Than if Beamer is canned after this season, you can go out and get an great offensive mind. Because with a great offensive mind who has a good resume, you can market, "exciting change'". With great offense, you have a fighter's chance in any game, even if your secondary isn't good. Some good coaches have been the HC at SC. Lou Holts, Spurier etc.. So the program is SEC legit. If Beamer could coach, you would have seen consistency by now.
There’s got to be some message or messages they can tell these kids to stop them from flipping. They just don’t know what that is yet. Got to sell the program better. Yes I think that can be done. Early playing time, making history, gimme something. I don’t think it’s all about money.

They don't develop anybody. If they do, it takes 3 to 4 years for that decent player to be "great". Why would somebody that is rated around 4 star to go somewhere where they can see from the programs recent past that they can't make anybody better. You will likely get better at Georgia sitting on the bench. Still hoping we have a good year, but I guess our definition of a good year is much different than somebody like Georgia.
It’s hard to blame a kid for taking an offer from Georgia over Carolina. I hate the word the bag so I’m not going to say it but I doubt Georgia had to offer him more cash. I bet the money was equal or less but going to Georgia gives you a better chance to win and make it to the nfl. I could be wrong but I doubt he flipped to Georgia because of cash.

@@CarolinaJackpotthe odds of getting drafted go up when you play for defensive back for Kirby smart at Georgia. Basically all starters get drafted. Maybe he thinks he’s good enough to start. If he was my son I would push him towards Athens and I hate and despise Athens and their university.
People that say stars don't matter ain't getting the 4 and 5 star guys. If you think stars don't matter, look at the last 20 years in recruiting. More so than not the same top 5 or 10 teams consistently in recruiting finish consistently in the top 5 or 10 in the rankings.

Let me tell ya, GA kids get the bag when they earn the bag. What this kid will get is developed to an NFL level and face such tough competition he will get better or get gone instead of walking on the field as an unready freshman at SC.
there has to be bad teams also.. south carolina makes it easier for some of the other teams.. so other teams are happy with south carolina.. the longer beamer is coach.. the longer the gamecocks will continue to lose..

It’s simple, when you’re a 3 star you want to play football like everyone else and SC happens to be a place where you can have that opportunity. SC doesn’t have NIL money and other winning programs do, it sucks for SC but, until they start winning and competing for the east they will be past over for money or just a better program in general. It’s frustrating as a SC fan but, it is what it is. Beamer better do something or he’ll be job hunting soon.

Say what you want but Stockton is one injury away from being the starter and will most likely be next year as a Junior. Anytime a program that starts a freshman is because they have no other options 🤔

I think he needs to win six games to be safe. I think if he wins five., how they perform in the conference games will determine whether he’s kept around or not. Based on last year, I don’t see him getting an extension, no matter what he does.
