Shane Black is THE MAN!! One of the finest and sharpest screenwriters of all time. His priceless and brilliant work is my inspiration. Interestingly enough, the story that I have been working on for the past three years was partly inspired by many of the glittering gems that he has wrote, such as Lethal Weapon and The Last Boy Scout. For the dialogue that drives those two actions masterpieces is without parallel, bursting, as they do, with this plethora of spectacular and hilarious one-liners, along with other memorably witty lines, comebacks, quips and observations. An ""amazing inspiration"" indeed. Basically, one of my dreams come true would be to collaborate with him someday, as our styles are quite similar (look out for the very Irish themed, Squantum, Massachusetts story, ""Delusions of Donahue."" It's nearly complete, and has gotten great reviews thus far). Shane, you magnificent bastard you!

I'm an aspiring screenwriter. Shane's skill is phenomenal. I've worked out a vital technique that Shane uses when he writes which should help me perfect my own style. Shane, thank you very much for your amazing expertise that you are willing to share with others.

"Well, it says something about your marriage." HA! First two opening questions were some doozies but Black handled them like a cool gracious quick - witted bra.

Black uses the same method as the Looney tunes cartoons in which it's a constant back and forth of winning and losing. He simply applied it to live action, which is why his films feel cartoonish, or hyper realistic. It's not actually how real life works where ever ten seconds you have a reversal, but it engages audiences.
