i can say that he was an amazing skater on and off the board. i was lucky enough to watch him skate and talk to him. he smiled so much. he was the definition of happy.
how the hell could 22 people dislike this part. it's still gnarly to todays standards, think about it; 14 yr old kid in local skate vid, fakie flip a 10 stair, nollie 5 a 12, suski grind a 7 and just straight out destroy with mad style.
why are people fighting and hating, that's exactly the opposite of everything shane stood for. cant understand how some people can say some that disrespectful about someone who's already dead like they deserved to die. bet he's busting the sickest beni's right now. RIP shane
such a bummer. alcohol related accidents already killed too many people i know, and now it takes the life of such a promising skater/athlete. he had his whole life ahead of him i cant even imagine how his family and friends feel...be safe and everyone go out and rip for shane!
it sounds fucked up but shane cross parts for some reason seem more impactful when i watch them than other parts, just knowing that hes gone and hell never skate again. it somehow magnifies the whole aesthetics of the part and it gets to you more. notice all the brick walls and floors? it goes really well with the song and the editing. know what im saying? life is precious RIP shane
it's weird how bad stuff happens to the most positive good people i remember going to a flip demo just after he died i wish i could've seen this guy skate man !
