I'm a paint contractor. I just painted an exterior of a house you would not believe. Guy is a friend of mine. Lost his wife a few years ago. He doesn't even live in the house. There is garbage and junk in every room up to the ceiling. Made me want to cry. This poor guy he can't let go. The neighbors begged me to talk to him. There are raccoons and cats all over. The neighbors can hear them scratching around in the walls. This is san Francisco where a two bedroom home is worth 1.2 million. I explained to him the city will condemn this home and seize your property. He can't get himself to take action. Daughter is watching her million dollar inheritance rotting away. Nothing she can do to stop it. Fucking crazy.

I told my dad who is a doctor about this, and he mentioned that she was probably immune to a lot of those contamination pathogens because she had been eating the contaminated food for so long and built the immunity

I was at a grocery store the other day, I was walking in the store and started smelling what I thought was dead rodents…like when a mouse dies in a wall and rots for months. I thought we’ll maybe the store (it was a really old store) had a mouse problem and one died in some place they couldn’t reach it. As I walked closer to a group of three individuals, the smell grew stronger. I realized it was coming from them. I ended up walking by then and the ammoniated smells was so strong that it actually burned my eyes and caused them to water. I then went to the checkout and they started walking up behind me. I got out of line and continued to walk around the store because I was afraid I was going to vomit it they got close and I could get away from them. I’m sure they were living in a similar situation. The smell was like nothing I’ve could have ever imagined. It was like ammonia, rotting flesh, body odor, cigarette smoke, cats piss and poop….all combined into one foul smelling odor. I did not know something or someone could smell so bad

I remember seeing an episode where this lady had a problem with hoarding cats and when they finally get to cleaning, they find a fridge full of cats that liquefied at the bottom for being in it for so long.

I told my aunt about this episode and it made her puke. I was laughing so hard

I was in county one time and it was a dorm style setting. There was an older man in the unit who couldn't control his bowel movements. So, they gave him a diaper. He would walk laps around the dorm all day, he also wouldn't know when he would shit himself, so anytime the unit started to smell like baby shit we had to remind him that he just shit himself.... What a wonderful life I was living.

After he and his friend finished cleaning the first floor, the uncle said "there's some kind of mess in the basement the damn health board wants cleaned up too." After working all day in disgusting conditions he and friend went into the basement no one's been in in a decade to find a 6 by 6 foot tall mound of human shit created from a burst shit pipe that had been dumping into the basement for the last 10 years instead of out to the septic tank.... how? Just how? I can't think of a single person on earth I'd clean that for
