I love listening to Shane describe movies and TV shows he seen. He remembers every detail precisely but pretend like he has to think about it to remember
The only person better at autistically recounting shows, movies and documentaries is Nicholas Mullen. That boy is something else... The accuracy is almost frightening.
My mom had a brain tumor and it turned her into like a stepford wife for years. She was a whack job all wide eyed, I thought my step dad was abusing her, he sucks but that wasn’t the case. She got it removed and it was like meeting my mom from 20 years ago. Fucking crazy.
Sorry you went through that for that for such a long time period, but I'm glad you got your mum back. Wild how something so small in our brain can change every single function about us. This doc always interested me. I think that some of the family members just didn't want to admit Diane was drunk, but who knows. Abscess tooth is an interesting theory, though. I got an infection after being bit by a dog. Got a T shot and antibiotics, but it still got infected. It was so painful, stressful and irritating that I was in an erratic mood, so who knows.
I just saw a YT short of a 911 call recording. Guy calls in freaking tf out, says "i just killed my mom and cousin". When the operator asks why he seems confused as he clearly didnt know why, and says "I dont know i just lost my mind and shot them with my .308 rifle. I think im going crazy" The guy apparently had a great relationship with both, no foul play suspected (apart from the obvious bout of insanity).
Insanity is really only a feeling those who felt it can truly understand. Being around it is one thing, but actually experiencing it is like being given knowledge you shouldn't possess and so your brain can't compute. The feeling comes and you can feel your sanity escaping your grasp. Then nothing makes sense and weird thought processes take over your mind.
Thank you Notorious Peepop, I'm really enjoying all the clips you have and really appreciate all the work you put in for the photoshops of the dawgs. Keep up the good work and may god bless you with all the BB girls you want.
I don't remember who said it, but someone I know said "The only thing more aggressive than her texts were her Eyebrows" and that was all I could think of the ENTIRE time I was watching the Michelle Carter documentary.
She was hammered. The family was grasping for straws, throwing any theory they could think of at the wall to see what would stick. At the end of the documentary, you find out she was plastered and they still didn’t want to believe it.
It is weird though she didn’t read as hammered to anyone who encountered her on the few stops, except that one couple who said she was driving erratically and looked sick. My read is basically the same as the two experts at the end: it’s possible the abscessed tooth caused some sort of medical issue which she tried to quickly medicate with alcohol and pot, and it just tipped her over the edge and she just kept drinking and it all hit her at once while driving. An abscessed tooth is actually a serious medical emergency and the fact she left it on the back burner for two years? Pretty bad.
Some alcoholics can be very impaired and not show obvious signs. That’s why when police do field sobriety tests the best test is the eye nystagmus test as it is not possible to stop involuntary jerking of the eyes due to alcohol intoxication.
This crash happened close to where I grew up. The outrage the next day was something else. Aunt Diane’s husband had a smoking 17 yr old side piece, some piece.
"Smoking hot side piece" but he was basically an extra kid for his wife to raise. No wonder she drove headfirst into traffic. Imagine raising a deadbeat pedo for a husband. At least he whined like a little bitch about what a great mother she was after she died.
SHane is a great story teller. whether they are real stories during a podcast, or semi real stories during his act. Dude just has tons of great crazy stories and delivers them pretty well.
"There were kids in the car" "Was she alone?"" "No, there were *kids in the car."* *"Oh my God!"* Shane can't tell Matt a 60 second story without Matt missing *incredibly* key details, I have no faith in Matt actually learning anything useful from all the pseudo-intellectual book listening he does.
@@tonyferra2134 HEY, Some of us LEARN DIFFERENTLY. Respect the Shaman, man. I have to read or watch something like twice and THEN it actually sticks. The first time I'm thinking about "oh shit I gotta do this, I have to reply to this, I gotta go here"
I heard rumors from friends of the people that the husband told the wife that he had been cheating on her with her sister then freaked out because of it and drank and smoked weed. That’s why she went crazy. The 2 family members defending her in the documentary, the husband and the woman, were the ones who were cheating.
She was very deliberate about it lol. I think the motive was she wanted to look like a grieving girlfriend or something. I forgot the exact details, but she was way more involved than just replying to a text. Not long after the guy offed himself, she made some "we will always miss you, I can't believe you're gone from us forever. I will always love you" fake sappy posts. Like, she WANTED him to kill himself, she wasn't just saying it to call out a bluff. "... Sam they read my messages with him. I'm done. His family will hate me and i cold go to jail" "Sam his death is my fault like honestly I could have stopped him I was on the phone with him and he got out of the car because it was working* and he got scared and *I fucking told him to get back in"* "I couldn't have him live the way he was living anymore i couldn't do it I wouldn't let him... *I could of stopped him but I fucking didn't..."* I know it's supposed to be "could have", but I'm quoting it word for word. There's also an olympic gold medalist of the same name, which almost took me for a loop when I saw Michelle Carter was married
I’ve seen that documentary and read a lot about it. She was obviously drunk and high, they were on some kind of weekend vacation, that’s clearly where they would go to cut loose, she was hella messed up though, her husband is just covering for her, trying to avoid lawsuits and the shame of it all really. 8 lives were lost.
Bro those chicks that were her ex besties really went in on her - Diane gained a lot of weight Diane really let her self go (Then they show the least flattering pic ever) Hahahahaha Women are so savage !
I watched it because of this and I’m not sure they are accepting the reality that she got fucked up and did this on purpose. Based on the witnesses, she wasn’t swerving around or even slowing down
@@yehheapsmadaybutThe husband changed his story a few times. All the post-accident testing showed nothing but alcohol and weed. No stroke, no heart attack, no brain issues etc…
Every. Single. Time. Shane tells a story like this, that’s simple af to follow, Matt , every. Single. Time. Goes “there’s was x??” After shane LITERALLY just told him whatever he asks……
I love how he plays dumb or doesn’t really know basic history when Shane tells bedtime stories. It’s either just not his thing and he’s the perfect audience to inform or he’s perfect at playing along. 2 planes for Pearl Harbor was my favorite
I had an abscess molar a few years back. My filling cracked a year before and I didn’t have the money to deal with it. One night while I was driving, the pain comes out of nowhere. It felt like someone was shoving a cattle prod in my mouth. It’s the only time I’ve had my vision blur from pain.
I’m glad there’s others out there that find this story as fascinating and mind bending as I always have. Some people just say oh she was an alcoholic it’s not mystery. But that’s so wild to me even if she was it’s hard to fathom why and how what happened that day happened imo.
Love hearing him say the facts 3 times because the person who has telling the story too can't pay attention to what he's already said. You can hear the frustration in his voice 😂
