A guy is only as funny as his material, and so far his material seems to be based heavily off of stories about him going through life - you've only got so many funny ones to tell. That being said, I think he's at the top for a reason, I just hope he's able to maintain that.

When I first saw Shane's Live in Austin special, I thought his style was very reminiscent of Louis CK whilst also being his own thing. Having subsequently learned Louis CK is his favourite comic, I felt somewhat smugly justified in that early impression and eager to see more from him, as a huge Louis fan myself. His 4 part Presidential history podcast with Louis is superb by the way, I highly, highly recommend it. Shane is a comedic marvel though, I can't get enough of his incredible talent.
