Yes they absolutely need a series for NASCAR type racing in New Zealand. And Australia. Someone with a lot of money needs to build some tracks first. But I would love to see that!
Not in the next 50 years it won't happen. Not enough money Not enough people. need 200,000 people to attend most races, NZ would be lucky to sit 10,000 people down weekly. Aus might get 30,000
@@michaelcrane2475 with extra Cup races he might have a break over off season... Goldcoast and NZ Street Race would be good events to display some Nascar...
@gerardcrabb4556 Yeah, can't really see Supercars letting them do that. What would be cool is if Supercars did a support race for a Nascar event in the States. Maybe Chicago, Road America? But can't really see NASCAR being too enthusiastic. Be interesting to see the difference between lap times. I suspect a Supercar might be quicker than a NASCAR round a street or road circuit. What you reckon?
@@michaelcrane2475 Old Supercar was quicker at COTA than Nascar... With Project 91 Nascar might be interested I show OS with maybe regional Nascar series to make up numbers and wildcards...
Definitely a playoff threat due to the lunacy that is the current NASCAR championship format. That being said I’m excited to see what he can do. Thanks for the video
@Weathernation420 Yes I know. But I'm pointing out the significance of the number for Shane. I'm sure Shane is extremely humbled to be running the number made famous by such legends. Dale Jr has given his blessing so what's the problem?
On top of this great SVG news we've just learned that the young Kiwi Liam Lawson has been guaranteed a full time F1 drive for 2025. Another flying Kiwi hits the big time. (Kiwis are a native to NZ flightless bird)
@jessbrown1830 You seen how fit the guy is? I reckon he could carry on into his 40s. Stirling Moss said he realised it was time to retire when he looked down at the gauges, then back up and his eyes started taking a while to focus.
