I love when you just commented and didn't think about it. the driver have earphone and because the road is going downhill, he needs to step on the break to slow down
I grew up with karate and martial arts movies. This is a jackie chan style fight scene lead by a stunt coordinator who worked with Chan. RIP Brad Allen. Will remember your fight in the film Gorgeous
@@Jumperman12mac He's a lot more than that. Yuen Wah is the greats during Hong Kong's golden age of martial arts films and was Bruce Lee's stunt double.
yeah i was just thinking because at 4:38 you can clearly see his fist clenched, and if he had just grabbed the pendant, you would surely be able to see some of it in his fist, or around his fist. Or his fist wouldnt be fully clenched. Idk its very unclear..
Keep in mind that Shang Chi in the comics is literally said to be so good at martial arts that it is considered his super power, which is a big thing in a world filled with people like Spider-Man, Daredevil, Black Panther, Captain America, Iron Fist, etc…
I love how he is being honest with himself instead of trying to be a smart ass hero" The bus driver is down. Iam not gonna handle this. Every time I tried to drive a bus I got yelled at. 😅😅
The fight choreography reminded me of Jackie Chans style. But then I realized the one who choreographed the fights was none other than Brad Allen, who worked alongside Jackie chan over the years. Then I knew the movie was a banger. RIP Brad Allen.
0:30 I remember the choreographer talk about this scene where the dude pushed Akwafina, he said that she did the impact so well that they thought he had accidentally injured her.
Ngl I was shocked on how much I enjoyed this movie, not much a Shang Chi comic fan but this movie was hype. Music sounds like Cyberpunk 2077 combat music
His entire fighting style and combat style is mostly influenced by Jackie Chan.. I grew up in the 90's and back then nobody fought like Jackie Chan did in his movies, at least not in the Western countries.. It's definitely a 90's Kung Fu movie style of fighting..
Unfortunately the acting is ehhh! He doesn’t have the facial expressions actors need for acting! Choreography is fine but acting is entirely different…
having brad allen on the stunt team is just genius. The hong kong cinema way of showing the fights as it is, no shaky cuts and shit. Just pure ass kicking. RIP Mr Allen
@@AmitCinematicUniverse What's that even supposed to mean? 😂It was still a short cameo and that's a movie from 14 years ago. I think the cameo in the Infinity War is typical example of what his bus driver cameo would look like.

Love the music/fighting combo. Especially the deep bass effect. Also the "I've taken martial arts training as a kid, Imma try to grade this fight" was hella funny!
@@sasook NWH was only good cuz they brought OG villains that were actually threats to SPIDER-MAN and finally not created or obsessed with Tony Stark, Willem Dafoe’s Goblin is meant to torture and break Spider-Man apart, he attacked his HEART. Then you have Andrew and Tobey’s return just for fan service.
what I really like about this scene was when Shang Chi was getting his butt whooped then he quickly turned the tables and came out on top. P.S. I find this as my personal fav Marvel movie because it’s the first marvel movie ever to introduce Martial Arts, having a huge difference between Captain America’s and Iron Man’s fighting/combat styles. 3:58 I really love the choreography of this particular scene, just one camera angle that follows Shang Chi stepping his game up
If they're fighting with their hands (and also certain weapons) then it's martial arts so there have been fights with martial arts, Winter Soldier vs Cap, Black Panther fighting especially in Civil War, Black Widow fights, even Spiderman to an extent but this was one of the best choreographed and a great showcase of traditional martial arts.
I think they probably cut back to the comic relief guy a few too many times but also "Every time I've tried to drive a bus I get yelled at" is fuckin hilarious.
Ain't nobody gonna mention how the guy grading the fight here in San Fran is the same guy that told Spiderman to do a backflip in Homecoming, in New York?
okay literally when I first saw Shang chi two years ago or one my number one hero was spider man now is literally shang chi he inspirers me more then spider man shang chi is in god level spider man I would say master level
The most unrealistic part of this scene was that no one was trying to fire up some meth in the back. All jokes aside, I love that this reminds me of the 90's kung fu movies. I heard the fights were choreographed by people that worked with Jackie Chan, and you can clearly see it.

I know! Whenever anyone said they loved the fight scenes in Winter Soldier, I always felt so confused because all those fight scenes have jump cuts like every two seconds.
