@Jonse70 It's very difficult to breathe every five or seven at the beginning of a 1500, it's a long race, that is more focused on conserving energy for the final 3 or 400 yards than it is on taking it out fast and unnecessarily using your energy and putting yourself in oxygen debt at the beginning. It's also interesting to note that, for distance swimmers, both Sun Yang and Ryan Cochrane have incredibly short turns.

@Drumwannabe17 oh lol didnt see that. i just find it cool how sun yang doubles breathes into turns and triple breathes out of turns.

it means 6 kick beats per one cycle of armstroke, which equals 3 kick beats per arm stroke.

@Drumwannabe17 Sun yang does not have a short stroke. he only takes 27 per length, thats really good.
