Shanghai Coronavirus Outbreak 2020 Vlog - How we are dealing with it in China/Markets/Pets 

I got caught in this spiral where things were progressing too quickly and I felt my new videos were too outdated! Haha, but I will try to get it up soon.

Haha, good for now. Though cases are supposed to explode in the next few days and then level off--so we'll see.

They actually posted about the pets on a very public forum that is being used right now to keep everyone updated about the virus and to dispel myths (it has over 1.3 billion views), but I think unfortunately what also happened was there was a reporter who said that pets also need to be quarantined if they come into contact with the virus, which went viral before she got a chance to correct what she said... A lot of panicking was happening, especially in the beginning, so unfortunately this fear makes people do terrible things :( We are still passing posters around here to inform people about the statement from WHO about pets. Supermarkets seem to be better now, I', I'll probably take another trip later to see how it is, but the chaos seems to have slightly subsided. Especially now that the extended holiday is coming to an end, people are just going to live their normal lives here in Shanghai, but just take extra precaution about contracting or spreading the virus.

NieceyB Fear is making people do some things they never would of thought they’d do, thinking about the heartaches from people abandoning their most faithful companions, so happy to see you adopted them! ☺️ I hope you will find better chance of getting produce when you go out later, it’s crazy how things went from a time to celebrate to everyone fighting over cabbages, this has been a chapter in humanity that will be remembered for many many generations to come. 😶

@@garionporter5961 Haha, thank you! I have wanted to do videos for a while now, but just never got around to it. I thought if I do really short and simple videos for now that's probably the only way I'll take the time to put videos up. Thanks again for the encouragement :) if people are interested I'll definitely make more of an effort!
