I enjoyed your video very much. I grew up in this area during seventies and eighties and attended the high school on Tian Ping Rd near Wukang / Normandie mansion. Then I left Shanghai and went to U.S. in 1988. But I return to Shanghai every year to see my mother who still lives in the area. This area and Shanghai in general have experienced breathtaking changes througout the years. There is barely any resemblance between the present Xujiahui and the one I remeber. This video showed historical sites that I used to walked by and remind me this is Xujiahui where I grew up. Thank you and keep up with the good work. Oh I may bump into you when I visit Shanghai next time.
Very nice video and thank you for that. I was born and grew up in that area, just behind the Cathedral. Then I left that city and live in Paris. I haven't returned to my home city for about 30 years, so thank your for your video which let me know what it is today. I have to say it has been changed a lot.
Wow, Shanghai has changed so much. I visited that church many many years ago, and I had relatives living close by but they moved away. There was the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau there before. It does not look the same at all. My cousins went to that Xuhui middle school! I wanna visit these places this summer when I visit Shanghai!
