He was worried about the fleet getting destroyed and a lot of people dying, he even showed that on the movie. But the moment he was in front of the cannon and close to Kid, he wasn't worried anymore
-shanks was not worried for himself but for the allies kid was about to kill, in this scenario , the thing you should be amazed by is the extent of future sight rather than the damned punk of the kid knocking fodders. -shanks and Kaido had different goals which couldn't coexist.all we know is that it was stated that both had a skirmish.And then Kaido went away. -so greater way of portraying that is Kaido saw himself in a losing case because Kaido had only king and who's who (according to additional info) with him and shanks had his whole pirate crew.The assumption of them having an agreement is completely hypothetical. -another case can be made that after that skirmish Kaido got scared from shanks due to his strength but i don't think of it as Narratively true but still better than agreement argument because these arguments are getting arose from revealed knowledge. -kid could have tried to evade from divine departure but the situation he was in ie. damned punk restrained him, kid saw shanks coming so he could have tried to evade if it wasn't for the punk.it is not like shanks attacked him in a state of ignorance.
I heavily disagree with the notion kaido got scared of shanks. Do you know why kaido was going to marine Ford? IT was to fight whitebeard in a battle to the death with the hopes of dying to whitebeard. So arguing that he seen shanks and got scared is a dumbass argument when for 1 shanks did not scar kaido so we can assume a fight didn't break out and for 2 for kaido to just leave it would have to mean he had 0 interests in shanks however we can assume in that scenario shanks and kaido clashed. After a haki clash kaido can feel shanks haki and places it top 5 in his opinion. He likely leaves after realizing he is probably too late to reach whitebeard by this point and shanks likely proceeds to head to marineford because the narrative would tell you that shanks would question why kaido would believe it's too late and as shanks gets there himself he sees it was too late as whitebeard had died.
@@icystoove first you disagreed with my point then proceeded to say the same thing. i used scared in the sense that kaido got away realizing that he cannot fight shanks at this point because there was no way he could have just let the marineford thing go by an agreement which is just hypothetical.if we solely base this off of clash, then kaido got intimidated by shanks strength alone while i also stated that i dont find this narratively true but it can be made as an argument so what is your point? another argument can be made that alligns with narrative according to my pov that shanks had his crew with him which is by far the strongest crew while kaido was alone with king.that may led kaido to a realisation.
My guess is their ether hyping Shanks up to take a crash from someone else or its being set up for him to be the final villain/Antagonist of the series. I know people don't think so but their are some sketch scene's from him. Him telling the Five Elders that Luffies fruit was really the Nika fruit and just the fact he's talking to the Five Elders and them going "Well if its you, well talk". For all we know Shanks was a World Government plant on Gold Roger's ship to spy on him, and hes still another ace up their sleeve. Oda leaves the breadcrumbs but no one seems to be noticing.
I mean u read the manga but u see shanks wasnt scared of kid but he was worried for the wellbeing of his allies cause kid was about to kill all of them. u could say he was caught off guard but u could hardly say that when shanks was moving directly in kids line of sight. Its all semantic arguing whether shanks is stronger than all the yonko and even roger but 1 thing we know for sure is shanks attack potency is way higher than both big mom and kaido as big mom whipped out her misery and still couldnt put kid down and kaido was smacking up all of them and still couldnt put kid down all of this when kid is being used as a puppet by basil hawkins so he is getting basically killed by killer as well ignoring all durability he has. For him to get 1 shot fresh with killer just shows how dangerous shanks is

@LelouchViBri_ that's what u think but he couldn't release the rail gun attack fast enough because like I said shanks was moving directly in his line of sight and directly in the path he was shooting it. If he couldn't percieve shanks coming that's just a skill issue from kid as it doesn't matter if shanks killed kids observation haki if he was literally coming at him right infront of him
@@michaelwilliams4024no, Kid couldn’t release the railgun because it has a charge up, then fire. It’s not just gun then fire it has to build up power. Shanks foresaw how long it was going to take to shoot and what damage it would cause if it fired so he rushed Kid before he could fire it off.
Fan bases will always wank pretty boys. You’re not going to win this. Kaido is stronger than Shanks and equal to Prime Roger and Prime Whitebeard based on what we’ve seen so far. Shanks should be below Mihawk because he has one arm. He also lost to an East Blue Sea King.

@@LelouchViBri_ i said on the rooftop since thats when we got to see Kaido actually start trying. Even his thunder bagua attacks in hybrid form didnt one tap Kidd. And Big Mom was pummeling Kid with attacks and he still stood ten toes down. Yes I do agree that Shanks is overrated tho since we have people glazing him over nearly nothing but Kid is not a weak foe. He was seen as a threat by Shanks which forced him to intervene.
Also rn by ur logic all we have seen from black beard is off screen things like shanks so shanks should be stronger than black beard currently and also should be strong than kaido. Because if we just stack the 2 against each other shanks can kill kaidos whole observation haki usage which means he is significantly slower at dodging attacks. Maybe if kaido doesnt fight like how he fought luffy he would win but if he fights the same way i see shanks winning
