I've been battling stage 4 breast cancer for almost 8 years. I was diagnosed after my first mammogram at 43. I got the mammogram because of her diagnosis. I just got a clean PET scan and am so grateful.

I met her at 90's Con last year, and she was so nice! She took time with everyone (despite her illness), and it was amazing ❤️.

Honest, straightforward people are often intensely disliked

Shannon is somebody who stood up for herself no matter what, always spoke truth and never pulled any punches. If she were a man people would have respected her for those qualities. The people closest to her describe her as the nicest person they've ever met and would give you the shirt off her back if you were in need that's how I'll remember her because when I was growing up I needed a strong woman to look up to so thank you & RIP Shannon 🖤

Shannen Maria Doherty did it the hard way. From her humble beginnings to her career in the entertainment industry, and most of all, her 9 year battle with breast cancer. It was amazing to see her receive the long-awaited vindication from her notorious reputation in her final years. I have been binge-watching her podcast, Let's Be Clear, for the past month. Some episodes have left me teary eyed. She fought and fought until the bitter end. Her contributions in the entertainment industry and popular culture will forever be remembered. We love you, Shannen. Us true fans never stopped loving you.

I worked on the 90210 lot for a year, yes she was a bad ass but she loved her dogs for sure. She was actually nicer to us and would come and talk to us security folk.

Growing up Shannen aesthetically reminded me of Courteney Cox, both gorgeous Irish women with porcelain skin, dark hair, and bright, blue eyes. 😍

She stood on her own ten toes and wasn't a follower because she refused to follow the masses. I respected and related to her because of it. I Felt drawn to her in the last 6 months. I put it off until around 3 months ago , I saved her podcast library to go through, listen and catch up. I finally started the podcast last week, few days before her death. As I listen to the episodes and ‘know’ there’s an end, her words mean so much more. She wanted to live and loved life deeply. This was just a few years before her breakout role as Brenda in Beverly Hills 90210. 53 is too soon. But, I applaud Shannen for fighting until the very end. She was great in Charmed. I must admit her death still came as a shock and I do understand she was fighting this cancer for awhile now and it seemed like each time she would somehow pull through.
