In my opinion she was literally one of the most innocent characters on the show! She didn't pop pills she didn't do drugs the only time she smoked was shortly after Paris she did not drink and drive like Brandon and Steve she ran off to Mexico with her boyfriend even though her parents gave her permission to but then took it back and she was going to elope to get married in Vegas but none of these things really hurt other people they just throw stones at her every chance they got. Hello by the time the series was over Donna's character had had sex with more people than Brenda's
I always thought that Brenda was a strong female character that young girls could look up. She always spoke her mind; she didn't let anyone run her over. She was strong and independent.
Steve sanders had some of the worst lines and character traits on the show but nobody seemed to hate him for it (or the actor for that matter). Double standards?

WHAT! Brenda WAS NEVER A BITCH. Dylan cheated her with her best friend! and she still forgave them and had to deal with them dating in her face. Brenda changed because of Dylan for sure BUT SHE WAS NEVER A MEAN GIRL OR BITCH... Did this people watch the show, and those sending hate letters probably were Dylan/Kelly shippers only 😠😠😠😠
Actually she started off as the sweetest girl to a stuck up character. It was Dylan this Dylan that. Plus being rude to her father. I know she did nothing wrong but her character was abit ahead of time of or the teenagers back then
Diamante Dea There were several episodes when she was a complete bitch. But she was for the most part good. I always thought Kelly was the true bitch but what I found the most annoying was how the characters seemed to always take Kelly's side over Brenda's and in general seemed to like her better even after she stole her boyfriend! Brenda was so much of a better person than Kelly ever was.
that is hollywood!!! salaries are always getting higher!! you know that stars in the 50s and 60's like merilyn monroe who had very succesful films were paid only 500.000 o max 1.000.000 a movie? and only the very vety famous!!! now salaries can be up to 30.000.000 a movie!!! it actually sucks .......
