You know this game is special when you stumble across it in the ps store and it makes a grown man cry tears of joy as you watch the trailer for the first time. I was amazed and in disbelief about what i was looking at because i couldn't believe what i was watching until i watched it the second time. This is my "hidden gem" because I never heard of such a masterpiece and ive been a big fan of wutang movies since i was 7. What a beautiful work of art! Thank you for a dream come true! I got the game as gift from my good friend 3 days ago when I discovered it and Ive been playing it ever since. This is going into my "greatest games of all time" categories effortlessly. Your efforts are worth every penny! Its pure digital nostalgia for real kung fu lovers!
What I really like about this game is the small stuff. The impact of moves without a lot of flashes (e.g. Tekken). And the blocking. I have been thinking for years why any of the popular fighting games didn't adopt blocking animations that makes the fight look more realistic. This game does this that.
This definitely needs a console release. Your know, for those of us who are 70's babies and still game. I've been talking about something like this since I was a kid. This is 30 years overdue! Great job on this, man!
I just bought this last night on PS5. It’s AWESOME! This is what I always wanted when I started playing fighting games way back in the 90s as a teenager, to play as the actual fighters from the greatest movies! I can’t wait to get the second one!
this really should be watched in slow motion for all the beauty that flies by in fractions of a second. So much hidden detailed quality going on that no one is even noticing.

Can't believe I've never heard of this game until today. While I couldn't buy it yet, I can just tell that everything from the ground up is one big homage to old Kung-Fu movies of yore. Just about fell off my chair when I saw a nod to the Golden Harvest logo in one of these vids! Love everything about it!

(I'll say this though; it would be real cool to see an indie developer tackle a fighting game/RPG. I don't even know why proper Quest Modes are so rare; it's like after the 32-bit era where you saw Tobal, Ehrgeiz and Abalaburn do 'em, everyone gave up. Maybe MK Mythologies was just so bad, it stopped people from even trying :P )
This is definitely one of the best casual fighters I have ever played. Picked this up forever ago but never tried it until now, and I gotta say it’s impressive how much depth there is to the fairly easy to pickup combat system. It’s the perfect fighter to use to take a break from more competitive games like SFV, KOF, and Guilty Gear. No need to worry about endless combos or tight frame links that make getting into the game a chore, and there is still plenty of depth to allow for improvement. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next, I’ll support it 100%.

Recently picked the bundle up (includes his original Kings of Kung Fu). Great game, love the combo system. I am having controller issues but Jae Lee is very fast to respond and after browsing the steam forums on the game, he responds to pretty much all questions asked and takes feedback as well. Just got it man, Im so happy with the purchase, though the loading times is a little bit slow but that is tolerable, I love the whole thing about your design and I can say you have such talent. All the legends from the eastern movies are present and creating something like this is truly unique in this era, and if ever you're gonna release something new like this, Ill support it, You're the man!
I just want to say thank you. I would have paid full price for this game which just released on Xbox One. As someone who owns hundreds of classic kungfu movies, I have been searching for a game that captures the look, sound and feel of the movies for decades, and this is it. Anyone who loves classic kungfu movies should love the presentation and sound, play mechanics. Is there a PS4 & Switch versions in the works, and will part 2 be available on consoles?

Prior to a few days ago I had never heard about this game ever but I always had a fantasy scenario where a game put all the great martial arts characters in one game. This game is that so much more. It makes you feel like you’re playing a Kung fu movie on screen. The blocking mechanism is dope. The sound effects are spot on. The movements of the characters are exactly how they were on the movies. This game should be up there with MK, Tekken, and SF
I was up till 4:00 in the morning playing this game last night. Despite this being meant for casual players, there is a REAL fighting game here. The neutral, when to attack, footsies, timing...its all there...and fabulous. Going to find a way to get online games going with Parsec. God bless this achievement.

I was disappointed when I first saw this and it was only on PC. I was looking for something else on xbox store todsy and this popped up. I bought it immediately and it is GREAT!! As a king fu fan this is just fantastic. Shout out to Jae-Lee. You did your thing on this.

Fantastic work I literally just signed up for steam just to get this game I had no idea this was out I immediately noticed snake from five deadly I have the whole Shaw Brothers collection and a few obscure ones if you can release on PS4 and Xbox I'll buy it again!!!! If you can keep adding more DLC I will keep purchasing we still need sammo hung as magnificent butcher and yuen biao prodigal son or maybe alexander fu sheng....put all the deadly venoms centipede toad lizard and scorpion please great job
This is amazing!!! hahahah, im a huge kung fu flick fan, know all those characters. :D Love how Hwang Jang Lee is in it and i like the style/movie (Eagle Claw - Snake in the Eagles Shadow) inspiration but i think Thunder Leg - Drunken Master using his Devils Shadow Hand would been coolest :D
I went to bed very late because I sat and played it last night. The best part is the realistic movements. So many games have magic powers but this one keeps it really real. Great work.

i just wish there was a spar animation that would take over where you would have to press a button in the direction that flashes on the screen (Ala god of war/resident evil/space ace-dragons lair)and if you don't do it in time then you get hit within the choreography but still continues until the "spar" meter depletes.i also wish there were a "taunt" type button that would allow you to have various taunts and an animation to the introduction of your style.in fact there should be a whole game dedicated to the amazing fight choreography.there needs to be a way to implement a way to become a part of those seemingly endless and talented/innovative ideas of fighting/sparring.its like a ballet.it should also be open world like Bushido blade 1+2 where you can run around and fight anywhere.i think that would be as immersive as you could get.being able to walk up to someone and challenge them by showing them the introduction to your style and them returning the same jester (in the films the opponent is always shocked and surprised about what style you use) lol
