Love this, I also have a 61 Caddy, mild custom, daily driver, we drive it every where, recently drove across Australia in it, 7500 miles, mas so much fun. Good Job, looks great.
Back in the early 70s my friends Granny Smith gave him her white 4 door 61 Caddy. It was the shorter 4 door though. Absolutely the sweetest ride around back then. The air was icy cold, the power brakes would put you through the wind shield. Remember the car wasn’t that old back then. It was a cream puff! We used to cruise a lot in the ol girl. One time it was a rainy late afternoon we were cruising slow through the foothills of Altadena and either KLOS or KMET was playing, Riders On The Storm. I’m sure we had a spleef buzz going on. It was one of those perfect moments.

This car checks all the right boxes for someone who's GENUINELY enthusiastic about cars. It's really all about the experience. Not carbon fiber, not turbos, not awd, not extreme G's in the corners. This is why I say Musto gets cars. I think he's having a hard time telling people and conveying to people how awesome these things are because realistically. You're only watching a video. But when I watched this I smell the exhaust, the ground shaking beneath my feet, and the massive amount of torque that car uses to get down the road. Cars are visceral. They appeal to the senses and I think Willy REALLY gets that. It doesn't have to be the fastest thing in the world to be more satisfying.

Love the fact that the cars you show-case on this channel have their own unique character...and are also used as daily drivers...and did not have to have $50,000 spent on them to make them put a smile on your face.

I saw this car at the Blackhawk Cars & Coffee back in May of this year. Everything looked the same except the shifter was different. That interior stood out to me. This car is way different and must be seen to be appreciated. Thumbs up to the owner from me too.

I saw this car parked on the street in Los Gatos, CA while I was doing food deliveries several months ago and I had to snap a picture because it was by far the coolest Caddy I'd ever seen. Such a beautiful car.
+Jono Nicholls I agree, but I kept getting drawn back in and soon I realized the only thing I didn't like were the emblems. I wanted it to be a massive sea of satin black with no markings to add mystique. Faux alligator upholstery would never have been on my radar, but Willy knows his shit I suppose because that is just crazy like a fox cool.
Love the Caddy. My best friend has a 69/70 half breed that we went over 200 in this summer land speed racing. Its black and bad ass just like this old girl.
I love the '61 Caddy! The only thing I don't like is the hardtop roof profile. They raised it a couple inches higher than the '60 model, so it makes it look a little gawky. I bought a '61 Caddy convertible back in '99. That baby looked sharp with the top down! When the ragtop was up, it still had a nice, lower profile than the hardtop.
+mr bad example I don't want to see the car wrecked or the owner for that matter, but I think also that this car was not driven in snow.Maybe it was a slip of tongue on Musto's side with the snow, I just thought it would be funny seeing that tank slide around in the snow.
I like when people choose unconventional platforms to go fast. I'm a big fan of Fieros. And am build on mine to run 10's and be a daily driver. Plenty of easier ways, but that's not as fun.
i'm a 60's cad fan. i like this. i also like the fact that the car has tires that have side walls. seems a lot people want to have big rims, with triple over tires. and this to me is dumb on so many levels.
i love how most people end up going with black paint in the long run but atleast its not Matte black. dont really see that many older Caddies so this is a pretty sweet build.

I had a 69 deville 472, i ran amsoil dominator 2 stroke oil in the bottom and mixed 80:1 with valvoline tcw3, it worked fin as i run these oil in my truck. Now i want to go with a VRO pump if i can get it to work with the throttle body.
Stiffen up the springs. Koni 60-40's on the front one full turn adjustment and 50-50's on the rear and you'll come out of any turn faster than you went into it.
