We show some various techniques for combining SFX in different ways (via busses, multiple instances, etc.) in this tutorial: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9ZIN3prqLEE.html One thing to note - you can stack multiple instances of Xvox and turn off what you don't need without any CPU waste, as turning off a module completely removes it from the chain, meaning it takes no processing power if it's off!

Each of the different Space Modes gives you different types of spatial effects, and the delays & reverbs are matched to do exactly what you're describing - super easy to blend in and place your vocal in a cohesive space within the mix. Great idea on a video showing a complete mix - stay tuned 👀🙏

@@nuroaudio If you do a video explaining vocal plugins like yours vs single plugins workflow, please remember except the reverb trick ( sort reverb / long reverb vs your type ) if with plugins like yours its better to record vocals in mono or stereo. Because with the workflow of short and long reverb the usually mono channel is sent to an fx channel that is like a stereo channel, gives wider reverb and delay. What would be better with your plugin? Mono or Stereo? Also, does your plugin has oversampling?

@@georgezorbas9036 Xvox works well with both Mono and Stereo tracks, it is Mono > Stereo so the reverbs and delays will always output stereo. No oversampling, also it’s usually most common to record your vocals in Mono, but if you do record stereo vocals or want to process stereo tracks, Xvox will handle it just fine 🙌

Thanks for your comment! There is a Global Output Knob in the bottom right corner of the plugin, as well as a Trim Output Knob for each module so you can gainstage each one. The Trim Output Knobs are located in the bottom right corner of each module's screen, and are really useful for gain staging as you mentioned!

Thanks for your thoughts! “Under the hood”, Xvox is doing all the EXACT same things a pro would do anyways when mixing vocals, and it gives you a control set that makes it faster and easier to dial in. If you were to replicate all of the functionality in Xvox with individual plugins, you would need at least 10 different plugins. And with those 10 different plugins, you’d end up eventually setting them the same anyways. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to learn how to do it other ways as well - it’s a great thing to learn and we encourage it! But for those who are focused on making the best music they can, don’t make it 10x harder and 100x more expensive to get there. There’s always something more to learn about what you’re “actually doing” - at some point you just gotta make music 🙏

@@nuroaudio Thanks for replying, SSL should take a leaf out of your book. I've been playing around with demo and it's pretty actually, albeit a little too clean for my liking. The demo is a pain in arse with the cut out, never understood why plugin developers do this, I'd rather have it for less time but working constantly. I'll buy it and send you two mixes, one with my vox chain and one using your software and you tell me which one sounds better. What's your email?

A few tricks I have found if you're wanting a more vibey / colorful sound rather than a cleaner one: The Tube + FET compressor is by far the most colorful and adds some nice glue / saturation. The Vintage tone mode is my go to as well, and for a less clean sound, I'm very careful of the Air+ slider if I use it at all for this style. Instead, I like the High slider on Vintage if I need more top end on a vocal. I like the Amp SFX mode at like, 8-10% - it can add some really nice grit and help the vocal glue into the mix. Excited to hear what you find!

Yes, it does that along with De-Essing, delay, modulation, etc. There's a ton of analog feel in each of the modes - Opto + FET Dynamics is smooth and natural, Tube + FET Dynamics is super warm and gluey compression, Vintage tone mode is warm and colorful - there's a ton of different modes (17 in total), each with a unique and authentic analog feel.
