look up almond shape eye look they have it on here and what i do cause i have that same problem is that i mix the two looks kinda together and i keep tweaking anything i think will look good till i have the right look i want ;) Have fun playing with make up and enjoy

Stick to only brighter shades of eyeshadows. You can put a light brown shade on top of the hood, right above the eye to almost mimic a crease and give your eyes a little more depth. Make sure to define your brows too, as they will frame your eyes. For the bottom, try lining your waterline with a white eyeliner pencil (try Stilla's white eyeliner pencil, it's amazing) and then using a liner brush, go very lightly with a pretty brown eyeshadow on the outer 1/3 of the lower lash line. This should help!!

Hmm, any colour darker than my fair skin colour on my hood makes it even more visible and looks heavier. I do not know what kind of brand is Stilla, it is not obtainable in my country, but I may try other kind, although aything in my waterline makes my eyes water and remove the colour. But I definitely cannot use any darker colour on y bottom lid, since it already directs downwards, darker colour there would make it only worse, make it look fallen even more. My eyes are simply impossible to work with...

wake up kiddo Then maybe go for a white/shimmery shade on your eyelid. Leave the hood your natural color (or just put concealer on it to even the color). Put a little dab of the white on the inner corners of your eyes as well to help open them up. Then play up your upper eyelashes (try natural looking falsies?). Also, I wish I could show you what I meant with the lower lashline eyeshadow... You can fill in the area above the liner with white (or nude), then draw your eye shape however you want with the liner. So take the eyeshadow or liner underneath you eyes and start it lower than your lash line on the outer edge and draw downward a little bit as you come to the middle of the eye and stop there. Make sure to blend that line well. Harsh lines are never a great look under there.. If you were interested, the Stilla "Apline" liner can be found on amazon (www.amazon.com/stila-Smudge-Stick-Waterproof-Stingray/dp/B003GC64HC). I use it all the time as I have hooded eyes too.

well that is it, I can only put super light colours on my lids, and since it is not visible in the first place, it is just dull, plus heavy layers of mascara and that is it. I think you do not understand, my outer corner goes downwards, and my hood, that is so heavy it finishes right above my cheekbone, worsens the fact that my outer corner directs down. Any, literally any colour enhances those sad eyes, it makes them look even more droopy. I cannot change the shape of my eye because I would have to draw the line through my eye, or use such a thick underline to make it look like it may actually go upwards that I would look like a panda. You cannot use darker colour under eye, it looks terribad and enhances the droopiness.

wake up kiddo i know how you feel. i have zero lid space. eyelids are falling on my eyelashes. my lids are so puffy theres nothing to do with it. i use asian eyelid tape to do makeup when i have too, but i am saving up for blepharoplasty(eye lid surgery)

I went to an education class for Smashbox and the makeup artist used this palette on a mature, mid-fifties woman with severe hooded eyes. I was SHOCKED at how well it looked. I always avoid applying shimmers to anyone over 35 (unless they ask me), but she looked great. She applied cream shadow in "Gemstone" as a base then followed the day look with this palette. Really made her eyes pop and didn't accent the lines and creases like I had expected. I would recommend going in clean faced and apply it (or have the makeup artist apply it) first to see if you like it. Hope this helped :)

It sounds like you have a monolid. You can use shadow on the browbone/hood and around the bottom of eye, just make sure you use a base to have an even color to work on top of to have a nice gradient. My eyes are hooded and is a pain in the ass. I just keep it simple, soft and blended and focus on foundation, blush and skincare instead. A lot of cool things can be done with highlight and contour too.
