what if the seat of the pantheon was actually a part of Zerith Ordus that had been torn away kinda like Korthia in the Maw. So we know the titans didnt have bodies when we were going through Antorus the Burning throne as seen in the coven of the Shivarra fight and the Eonar fight the only one that did have a body was aggramar that we "beat" yet when we go to fight Argus all the titans seem to randomly regain bodies again through what looks to be some type of celestial magic with the exception of Argus who gets a body from the titans pulling him to the seat so my theory is that the seat is a part of zerith ordus and the "magic" they use to reform is celestial magic (which could be expanded upon further in the Last Titan expansion) much like how in the shadowlands Anima was used to create the Eternal Ones
I very well think we've heard from Norgannon before - but through one of his avatars - Algalon. His reaction to our passion and fight for our world and lives. So cold, so incomprehensible. He probably learned some valuable lessons about both us, and himself that day. If those benefit or harm us, who know?!
Maybe Algalon left us alive because we were working with him all along. Killing Old Gods, destroying the Legion, fueling Azeroth with the Titans' "Order Pumps" seems pretty good when you're a Titan. The guy knows everything and if he have his dirty hand on Aman'thul, he knows the future too. The only future were the Titans and Order wins... But hey, by keeping us alive, we got fed Chaos by whatever the Old Gods are, and I'm sure we'll fight Algalon in TLT, for good this time. Or we'll loose, and reboot the whole thing. Heck, wouldn't surprise me to get both and fight Algalon with Nozdormu on our side, going through time to defuse that bomb the Titans left us. And that Last Titan might just be Azeroth too, after all those years getting stuffed with Order. By killing the Old Gods, we doomed Azeroth to be a being of Order, and that's why Sargeras had to either kill her, or free her before we kill the last thing fighting Order on this god damn planet. After all, the Sword came before N'zoth defeat, so we might still stand a chance. And most importantly, Xal'atath might be our savior by gathering Old God Blood, to keep Azeroth fed before she turns full Order. But hey, Alleria and us will find a way to fuck this up I'm sure.
I don't understand why Pyro misunderstands what the void is. The void IS life. It's the genesis of flesh, and the 'hungering' void. It's unabated life, voracity, and adaptation- the exact opposite of the stasis of light. It is the very essence of consume or be consumed.
Idk how YOU so unbelievably misunderstand what the Void is. The Void, is THE VOID. It is nothing, it is entropy it is nonexistence. Our new Void Lord's name is literally Invalidus. As in your existence is INVALID. The Void consumes, it devours, it annihilated, obliterates. That is it's nature. The Void is nowhere NEAR life in concept, nor in practice. Death is closer to life than the Void is, period. There is no life in the Void. The Void is Lovecraft incarnate, and thats been clear since day one.
@@monkeysk8er33 Except it's not. The HUNGERING void is a term used explicitly in game. Don't you find it strange that so many void creatures are basically fleshy mouths? There's a reason for that.
@@nastalgiclectue Bro, you're literally the person I wrote my response from your response isn't a response to mine, you're just saying the same exact thing in different words. You don't understand the Void. Using your logic, the thousand eyes must mean they like looking at things. The "Hunger" is to devour all existence. Everywhere says that, Chronicle says that. The thousand eyes represent their ability to see all timelines, which they likely get from the Infinite Dragonflight working with them, I doubt it's a natural Void power. They exist to consume, but by consume they don't mean to live, thy mean to annihilate. Annihilation is the opposite of life. 🤦 They aren't hungry because they want to live, they devour because that is their nature. Ever wonder why Void Lord's can't just appear in Reality? They would have to have an infinite power source, and the only seemingly infinite power source is Azeroth, which is why they're here. We don't know where Kar'esh is anymore, it very easily could've run out of world soul energy and died. Azeroth is likely a First One, and that explains her power and why everyone wants it. Kar'esh was likely not a First One.
It could be that the pantheon became stuck in their “prisons” after being slain by Sargaras. Norganonon’s spell could be the prison that holds them and which they cannot break free. Norganons spell broke the natural order, and ever since they have been perverting order.
Damn man I love your theories and just the video's in general. Your passion for this world has reignite mine and I started playing for 20 years and thought I was done. "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!" 🤙
I think the Titans may literally embody stasis. All of their prisons essentially hold their prisoners in stasis, and that could be why they don’t die and they ‘order’ everything in order to keep the universe in stasis and to stop the natural circle from spinning. You could also go further and say that every titan wields a different magic in order to put all of the cosmic and elemental powers individually into stasis through different titans
On your idea of the old gods not being void, I always thought the cosmic void energies are very different from the ones the old gods use. The cosmic ones look more like black holes, of dark energy and matter, very septic, cold and exact. The Azeroth old gods lean much more towards a form of cancerous, twisted life, with bizarre creatures and morphologies. What do you think about the old gods having been powerful humanoid beings (like Xal’Atath) that suffered reorigination from the titans and were permanently altered to be repulsive creatures with the purpose of erasing something the titans did not like? What if they experimented on them?
i still have no idea how the Titans could "re-manifest" in Legion after Sargeras destroyed them (same with how Sargeras could re-manifest after his body got imploded in the Sundering). was it ever mentioned? or are we to assume all of them got new bodies from somewhere?
The notion of the gods being prisoners and mortals being free is an old human mythological trope. Literally as old as the idea of religion, near as we can tell. In Christian/Hebrew myth, some of the angels, named "The Watchers" broke God's Law by descending to Earth, teaching mankind about war, industry, makeup (yes, makeup!), and basically everything else bad that isn't inherent to our nature. They also reproduced with human women and produced "giants" (Nephalim). As punishment, God imprisoned them in Tartarus and forced them to watch their half-human children slaughter one another in the bloodiest conflict ever seen on planet Earth. The Archangel Michael commented something to the effect of: "Wow, nobody is ever going to do something like that again!" This indicates that, within the God-centric myths, the angels (aka alien civilizations far more advanced than us) who are far more powerful than us, immortal, wise, and knowledgable, are not free to make their own decisions and choose their own fates, whereas we mere mortals have been given the Grace to do so, and to even rebel against God if we wish to, without instantly condemning our souls to eternal death. Kinda grim and unfair, but shows that the idea is an old and established one in human storytelling.
We are like the embodiment of all the cosmic forces. And we are at the centre of it all. We are light (good), void (evil) we are life and death. We are chaos and order. We are the embodiment of all the cosmic forces. But maybe that's obvious. And all of these elements of our selves vie for overall dominance. But balance is the way forward.
Order and Chaos are polar opposites. That's for sure. Same goes for life and death... but from what I get, the whole thing is mixed up! Our realm of mortals is the root of death, not life. Where else would death has its root, if not in the realm of mortals? But that means that the opposite must be true as well, that somewhere within the realm of the dead, in the Shadowlands, must be the root of life. So what are Titans without their body and their divine like powers you ask? I say they are the consciousness of a soul, that was put into an orb in Zereth mortis and was flung out into the in between, the afterlife within surrounding the soul being their very own emerald dream. There are a few hints to that theory. For example the Oracle you help says at one point "This land is possibility", stating at another point, that potential and possibility are characteristics of Vitae, Tumult and Umbra. Also Zereth Mortis overall looks like it is a forge to create worlds and we know it is. It creates afterlives and puts it into these orbs, but from my point of view it is just the point where the cycle is complete and new life is being created. So if Zereth Mortis is actually creating life, there is a possibility that Zereth Ordos is or at least was supposed to be the root of Chaos, right?
0:30 Aluneth would become the bicycle of the pantheon if given even half a second of "yes." That staff...entity? Is a big fan of the titans. The titans do make a mean prison, honestly. Like Hot Topic elf says, Azeroth is a prison. And its a nice one.
