Damn good job my brother wolf keep on howling😊. You do damn good job for just having a voice and hammers. Yeah.. As old as old wolf man would say you're going to love it to death.👍🏼🤟🏽🤙🏽😊😎✌🏽🙏🏽🙋🏽♂️.
I really enjoy your content. Having rolled my Dad's 1962 Chev when I was 17 I have allot of affection for that body style. Your interactions with the camera and the work your doing is always enjoyable. Thankyou very much!
Hector great work buddy! I think it’s time to call the owner...sit him down and break the news “man I screwed up! We’re gonna need a body shell......😂😂
60 years old , they show their age. I have a couple up here in manitoba Canada.. I've pulled every belair, impala, biscayne out of any feild I can find it in. Even had a 2dr 58 Delray, which is a model I don't hear of alot. my 64 is made from 3 cars, and still taking me forever just to be a roller. I got the first one 12 years ago and I'm praying it will roll under its own power this summer...it's not great, but all gravel roads in my location, and u just wanna drive it already.. Love watching you work on the impala, thanks
Wow, that Impala has a lot of bondo. Sheesh!! You’ll get it all, just make sure the replacement Impala has enough ground clearance to pull up over the mountain of bondo you leave on the floor after grinding it all.
Hector, I’m sure glad to see that you’re straightening that problem out that was ridiculous man somebody just put a gallon in the Bondo in the side of that car and let it ride but man, I’m sure glad to see you’re fixing it right old school away you know .
Remember when Robby Layton saw the work you did on his Ford AA wrecker, in TrailMater's garage, as you extended the cab? He celebrated your skill. This video was more of making metal work without a big budget.
Growing up in the hollow of a old mining town in wv in the 80's I remember play in the creek and finding a taillight sting out of the creek bed (the creeks here was 30ft wide and a ft deep.) We dug most of the summer trying to find out what was there . We uncovered the whole back end of a 67 impala ,I talked to my grandfather he said someone wrecked it over a hill a couple miles upstream in a rainstorm in the early 70's. My great uncle ended up digging the car out with his back hoe, and a local scrapper cut it up and hauled it off but I kept a tail light as a memory of that adventure.
Man I love watching your videos an Hector your skills never cease to amaze your a metal whisper lol for real looking great can't wait to see the next video
Hey challenger…. Just saying you got everyone else on the team!!!! Let’s get Hector a small garage lift to show the rest of us can afford one can be! Hint hint!
I enjoy watching your videos. I learn a lot from you. Keep up the good work. Thank you for teaching me through your videos. You're definitely a master of your craft. And you have beautiful work. It shows detraction cars are beautiful
I was wondering if there might have been some repair on the door as well I thought I had seen some cracking and what looked kind of like a dent and there looked like a dent in the front fender at the edge of the wheel well top front. Just more work and time like you said. It would have been better that who ever did the original repair had done it correctly instead of using so much bondo. You'll get it done and you know that it will be done correctly and I' m sure the owner of the car will be happier that it is getting done the right way. Stay safe and healthy.
I do use angle iron, and I have a small brake, but this works for me pretty fast on most things. I do have to set my brake up in the next video to bend the outer panel. Thanks for sharing. i take a lot of advice from our viewers
Hector, you need some tools, to make it more efficient and healthy… look at rodcraft MBX (or CP Chicago Pneumatics) with the Brush belt or nail belt….. it’s like sandblasting….. any grinder had no chance I use this tool over years… less dust n‘ dirt… and fast as hell. It’s running with air and can’t overheat……
I know it cant be seen but you could have easily ground the inside patch so when painted the repair would not show. Could have seam sealed it on the inside. Seems like after all that work another hour or so to grind it smooth then paint it would have been worth it.
I actually Seam sealed both in side and out. I prolly did need to on the inside by the Fram rail, but I did it anyway. I also did it on the inside of the body panel. I just didn't show it very well.
@rockabillychavez I've watched a lot of videos and comment frequently. You are the 1st to reply directly. Thank you for that. I started following on the Robbie Layton model AA cab video on Trailmaters channel. You do good work. Simple to understand. Take care.
I don't think the door has a dent in it at all. They built it up so much to match the bad job they did on the quarter panel. The door is really nice 👌 🙂
I only have enough garage for one project at a time. The Ford is still mine, and I hope to continue on it one day soon. But the Ford doesn't make me money. My projects will always be last in line.
Bro stop complaining about how much work it is and just do it. And as far as the shity body work that was done before, it was done when it was like a $800 daily driver, wasn't like it was a classic car.
I'm pretty sure I didn't complain that much, especially for the amount of extra work because of these bad repairs. Just so we are clear here, you think it's OK to do this kind of repairs on new cars just because they aren't classics yet??? If you ask me, I think it is never OK to do shit work like that on any car. Thanks for commenting and watching. We definitely appreciate it👍
You need a Magnabend break. I wish I had 1to give you uthere so good. Box and pan and cornice brakes are great for heavy metal but magnabend brakes are awesome
