UPDATE: Just to go into further explanation, if you're looking to permanently shape your waist then you need to go with a custom steel bone corset and PLEASE DO TONS OF RESEARCH. Actual waist training takes time and may cause harm IF YOU DO IT INCORRECTLY. These options I'm showing here are shapers. They help shape the body underneath clothing, can make you sweat more in the midsection while working out, get rid of swelling after surgery and help post baby body to get your skin and tummy back to your normal. :D

Very true! I'm glad you mentioned this :-) Proper waist training with boned corsets needs lots of research. I tightlace from time to time but I'm actually wanting to try a faja because corsets are almost impossible to hide under clothing :-( Thanks for the video, you're absolutely gorgeous and I love your style :-)

Kudos to you women who have the patience and tenacity to wear these. I'm watching this in my fat yoga pants with an oversized t-shirt on sipping my coffee with biscotti losing my breath as I watched you putting all those on. I remember wearing shapewear to my husband's military ball, and over dinner it was rolling down my waist and pinching my gut. I excused myself to go into the ladies room, and immediately peeled it off and threw it in the trash. For me, rolls are worth being able to sit down comfortably, eat, and breathe freely. If men have no shame in showing off their bellies, than neither am I. I'm not saying I'm better for it, I'm just saying until men start enhancing their looks like women do or putting in any real effort, I certainly am not putting forth such extreme efforts either all the while being uncomfortable. I can understand wanting to look amazing at the same time. Different strokes for different folks. I applaud you AshleyMarie (and those women who can rock those high heels too!)

Taking that thing off is like watching canned biscuits explode from the container. Waist training relocates your internal organs - there is no safe, foolproof way to do this. Ask your doctor.

Have you tried the full body fajas like the last one? Those shouldn't give a back roll since they cover your back. The cinchers do, but the body fajas shouldnt.

@@BMakeupBeauty this is why I never wore them. But, at this videos suggestion, I bought the last 2 (and one in the mid but it's not my fav) & there's no back rolls. If you can't pull it up where it needs to be in the back, it kinda looks puffy but I can do it myself (I have long monkey arms) .... Idk. I'm the same size as her, but I'm squishy & this one is perfect (last one). Took me 15 mins to get into it, then I needed a break, but yeah. Btw, it works so well, I had high schoolers trying to get my number and I'm old enough be their mom

I love you Ashley!!! I had a baby a year ago and can’t seem to drop the weight despite being very active and strict dieting. (I’m not terribly overweight, just a little around the middle 😂). I think my age is catching up to me. I saw this vid and decided to try shapewear, and with a few other tips and tricks of yours I am going to wear this stunning 50s style cocktail dress for Christmas this year. I'm so glad I randomly found this video! I've been looking for shapewear that fit my proportions for a very long time. My waist is 35" and my hips are 52". I wear corsets, but wanted an option to enhance my figure more comfortably. Everything I tried was either way too loose on my waist or way too tight on my hips. The salome is exactly the right measurements for me, though!

Up until now I thought struggling in fajas meant it didn't fit/it was wrong. Luckily I am lazy on exchanging them for a bigger size and have always dealt with them being tight. This made me want to buy more now knowing they are supposed to be uncomfortable lol thank you so much!

FINALLY! A REAL woman who understands what a compression garment is! I get so frustrated with reviews saying how uncomfortable they are! At this point look for the ones with the worst reviews first and read those. I WANT one that's uncomfortable. I am not spending over $100 for comfort I want a smooth shaped body! Oh, ps I get into my garments the exact same way... I kinda do the scooping motion but i kinda get my thumbs on the outside and my fingers on the inside and kinda bunch or scrunch the fabric up and pull starting at the bottom and slowly letting go of the bunched up fabric... Hey mama. I'm disabled. Missed up back hips knee and more and I've worn fajas every since I gave birth when I was 19 and realized after my accidents that they help with my posture and pain. I can I go without wearing one if I'm doing anything active or cleaning or anything I definitely recommend buying one that suits you best or a couple depending on what you're doing. Hope this helps

@@blkrse94 same. So I tried the last one... It did flatten out my gut. But I kinda looked heavy in other parts where I'm not. Which, still, A+ from me, but from the side, it's .. idk I give up. It's like $60 (for a 2xl which is like a size 14/15) & I have no regrets. If you want, buy on Amazon so you can return it if you don't like it. I think these go up to 5 or 6 xl

@dwarfedgiant you have a point, but wanting to feel your best extends to your body at times. If she really cared, she'd "fix" it. Clothes are unflattering more often than not. For example, I bet she looks great in underwear, and maybe like a potato in most clothes (this is my experience lol).

dwarfedgiant katya is short for Katyana “fixing” it takes time. Sometimes certain clothes make people look shapeless. Which in my case happens when garments fit my hips and chest but look a little lumpy in the midsection. Hence my “need” for something too smooth me out in the meantime while I work my ass off to get rid of my belly lol it’s not that I hate my body or don’t want to make the effort, I just have a predisposition to gain weight in my midsection because my hormones are out of wack (Thanks PCOS😑) 😅 but other than my hormones, Everything else body function wise is healthy. BP, LDL, HDL, CBC, Liver Function, all in good health. So no, I don’t take that for granted. I just don’t want a belly. Sue me lol

Unruly Candid regular shapewear and waist trainers will not distort the ribcage or internal organs because they are not meant to be worn all day and night. The shaping they provide is temporary. Steel bone corsets worn day and night are what cause permanent changes in the body structure.

I am obsessed with your videos! They are so informative! I actually purchased the Salome faja and my waist is a 28/29 while my hips (butt) is around a 41. I went with a small due to the waist measurement but it is so so tiny! I was able to get it on after so much struggle but I cannot get those hooks latched! I’m thinking with the help of someone I might be able to...I’m not sure if that’s normal for the first time? Does it get a bit more loose after your first use? Should I purchase a medium instead? I’ve never had such a tight full body faja so this is all very new to me. I could use your help! ❤️

As a 6ft 2 women I have never found any waist trainer or shapewear long enough for me in the torso so shapewear just grabs and pulls and pulls painfully until I am crying in pain and waist cinchers leave bulges above and below them because they are too small for my long torso. I cant afford custom made either so I just avoid bodycon dresses and wear what's comfortable.
