I was in the military in the early 1990's (San Diego) and one of my homies from back east schooled me on how to move out there. Gang culture did not exist on the east coast like it was in Cali. I never ever got robbed but I absolutely got stepped too and it was dan-ger-ous out there. With that being said, I met some of the most beautiful people out there that 30 years later I still think of them and wish I could rap to them again. Cali was a place that I loved to my soul and if life gave me my way, I would have stayed.

You ain't never lied. I have been approached once or twice by a gang member. The first incident I had I could tell that young guy was with the craziness. The second time was a guy I already knew but I knew dude was posing because I knew his whole family and his mom was one of my teachers so he came from a decent family he just got caught up with the wrong people.
