Those rings weren’t the result of Shaq being better than Barkley because he wasn’t. Barkley’s early career was spent in an Eastern Conference that WAS STACKED plus he never had Kobe Bryant as a teammate. By the time Shaq was racking up championships in LA, the NBA was less competitive. It’s a meaningless point which doesn’t lend any more credibility to Shaq.

Be realistic, would you rather see a ref pass on a few fouls or would you rather see a team win because one team had 12 players foul out? Refs can't call every single foul, every single play or the game will last for 4+ hours. Nobody wants to sit through that, not the fans, not the players, not the coaches, not the commentators.

The NBA is entertainment. Refs aren't going to call the game perfectly.

@@scouser8056 By that, are you referring to point total? I would say that's about right. Because that's 21 points & then Harden's averaging 7 freethrows this year & making about 6 per game. So with Kenny's 3x3x3 rule plus Harden's freethrow rate, his ppg should be about 27ppg.

Let‘s say he gets fouled on 3 layups, 1 floater and a 3 every game. That‘s still 19 shots and 11free-throws a game. That‘s still a lot if you‘re the second option on your team. That‘s why I wonder if Kenny really ever thinks about what he‘s saying. Harden would be averaging about 27 shots and 15 free-throws a game if he shot 9 shots a QUARTER.

Shaq got a lot of calls too, dude averaged 10 freethrows per game his career & his highest was 13 freethrows per game, & he led the NBA in freethrow attempts 6 times, which one of those times he was ahead of 2nd place by almost 200 attempts. But like Shaq mentioned what a ref said to him, "Bro you're getting fouled everytime, I can't call them all." If they called them all, we'd be watching Shaq shoot freethrows for majority of the game & multiple players would be fouling out on the other team. Lol

Its a matter of preference on the offensive player. Dirk always does this two not because he is weaker but he is more comfortable fading a little bit when he shoots.

It’s a real problem with big men and 4s now, has been for a few years. They call for the ball at the top of the key then try to fight there way into the post or shoot fades when it fails.. They need to fight to the low post first and then call for the ball, the closer you are to the basket the easier it is to score, it’s like that’s been forgotten. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen AD just get bullied off the block... Whoever’s coaching the youth or AAU coaches have completely forgotten fundamentals of basketball. Go to any hardtop in any hood with old heads and you’ll see mutha fuckers still fightin for position under the hoop.
