so now his age is an excuse, his teams are stacked, Kobe was 22. He cooked Indiana in the 4th quarters of games when Shaq fouled out. Tatum disappeared in the 4th in the finals vs GS. Kobe cooked the Sixers also and the Nets. 3 straight chips then 2 straight without Shaq, 3 straight finals. Almost 2 3peats. Tatum thinks he's Kobe but he's not even close.

That was Shaq's team, but he doesn't win without Kobe, go back and watch. 4th quarter was Kobe time. the Lakers realized he was their future and traded Shaq. I’ve spent half of every week as a local Celtics fan trashing Tatum this season to my friends. BUT, it’s insane for us to forget that the dude has like 3 of the most clutch moments in the playoffs the last two years. 16 points in 4 minutes of a ties 4th qtr down 3-2 facing elimination. 51 points in the next game, game 7 that he helped force for those 16 points. And then 46 HUGE poonts, I think 13 down the stretch, while the Bucks and Giannis were trying to put him and the Celtics away in the 4th of game 6 when the bucks also had a 3-2 lead. It’s been some time since a young star has put together THAT type of cltuch play come playoff time. Down 3-2 is like, the most gigantic pressure moment. And Tatum has shined bright. I still freaking feel like I hate him sometimes! But I can’t deny what he’s done. It’s actually odd how much we don’t trust him when he’s actually done some things to earn trust. I think it’s something about his energy and personality and play style. Because like, Jimmy butler has had TERRIBLE playoff games. We just remember the gigantic ones. And I think that’s also due to his energy and personality and makeup.
