Plus Criteria for PPG is useless.. 6 more assists for Jokic equals 10pts at least, not counting +1 or 3pts... Difference is 4ppg, so Jokic would have 6ppg more if the put apg, ans dont get me started on the boards...

The reason Jokic gets disrespect is these players know he is doing it against bums…in a league with ZERO PHYSICALITY. If Jokic played against David Robinson, Olajuwon, Yao, Alonzo Mourning, Prime Dwight Howard, Shaq, etc..etc..etc..he would get washed. He is too non-athletic. He benefits from very little real defense. Bird did it in the most physical era…with dudes like Karl Malone guarding him…and gets respect for it. That is the issue. Jokic is getting a false-equivalency benefit.

I have always believed Shaq coasted through his career simply relying on his physical gifts. Shaq saying he could've won more if he tried reveals he truly didn't take the sport as seriously as he should have. Now he's here dissing centers that he feels are beneath him even though these centers have shown to be more skilled than he was during his playing days.

Should’ve probably won in 2001 (possibly other years, but at least that one), and for titles, he would’ve been in better shape and able to work with the whole team and Kobe especially in order to win. They could’ve beaten the Pistons, and it’s unlikely as hell that that team seperates if they win that year

Jokic definitely deserved that MVP with the awful supporting cast he has compared to the other candidates like Giannis, Luka, and SGA. Jokic has no all stars or former all stars on his team other than the washed DeAndre Jordan, but he barely plays and is not part of the rotation. Meanwhile, SGA has Chet and Jalen Williams as well as a strong bench, Luka has Kyrie, Giannis has Dame, and Tatum has Brown, White, and Porzingis, all all star caliber players.
