This was New Direction Choir at an Indian festival, circa 2000 I believe. Those were the days we were getting groove and funk prepped, 2/3 times a week in Jeral's basement. Some of the baddest musicians and singers in the world came thru that same basement too.

ahhhh yes, back in the day of exotic basses and huge bass amps/cabinets!! It was normal to see a couple of speaker cabinets like 8x8 or 2 4x10's etc. and that looks like a Ken Smith bass!! this is so awesome! LEGENDARY!

I can only IMAGINE what it would be like to play like that in a CHURCH for the LORD and not have anyone telling me: to "turn down" or "it dont take all that" or to have a Keyboardist all in my way or they want u to play for free. I'm desirous of the complete freedom of expression u have on your instrument...which I can ONLY find at the moment in the world..keep on killin bro!!

Maaaaaaan……..😩! If you can find the video where New D went right before Bryant Jones & Chosen…..where Anthony Harmon was on bass……PLEASE POST THAT NEW DIRECTION PERFORMANCE!
