So I guess the moral of the story, or what can be taken from this is to interact with fans, and show the world how this interaction is going, and show it in the best type of light.

This purely sad. What coke actually does to your body is scary. In this crazy world where we supposedly "care" so much about our health, a company like Coca Cola is encouraging people to drink more coke. The campaign isn't even that good. Thinking about the scale and resources of the company, they could have done better.
no it shows how AMAZING their marketing department is ;) in todays hypercompetitive market, EVERY brand has to fight for recognition and to build sustainable customer relationships - coca cola is one of the few brands who succeed in doing so^^

ksj2511 then drink water and try to advertise that. the coke scheme was not to make folk drink nothing but coke, it advertises itself as a treat; to be drank as part of a healthy diet (meaning you shouldn't probably chug the shit 24/7)
I thought it was a great campaign...with ho-hum results. The purpose was to get more teens/young adults. 7% more were drinking after spending who knows how much money. In simple terms, 100 teens/young adults were drinking before, now 107 are drinking afterwards. *shrugs*
My mother's first name is Shaniqwa and her last name is Lakisha and I therefore find this highly offensive and believe you should be locked away and not fed at all.
