The key to learn any language is VOCABULARY KNOWLEDGE! Create a list of NOUNS VERBS AND ADJECTIVES and memorize them! That’s how I studied Japanese by myself in Japan 30-35 years ago.

0:49 I can relate to this personally. Every since high school, I've had a sudden interest to learn Japanese. I could never explain why; I just wanted to. Now I know why I've been burderned to learn Japanese and become an English teacher in Japan; it's to help God's mission in Japan. I'll keep my full story short here, but I thank God for this gift and he blessed me with a teaching job in Japan starting this August. I plan to visit churches like this one; looking forward to meeting all of the saints in Japan!

Keep in mind! As in any country the Chosen Remnant are FEW! Don’t let the frustration of not seeing people come to faith in Japan get you disillusioned and disappointed! Including false gospels Christian population is about 1%!

This was an amazing video. Thank you for sharing. I just wanted to make a small observation. The meaning of やく(約) is not translation, but rather promise. In Japanese the kanji of the translation is another やく(訳).

Thank you for pointing out the difference:) When I made the onscreen graphics for the video I used the correct kanji for ‘testament/covenant’. 😊 God bless you!

Also! It would be cool to make this learning to evangelize in japanese be a progressive thing from episode to episode. So where this was just words. Next time you can do helpful phrases. I'd love to be able to have a ministry cheat sheet I can go through to accompany some japanese tracts I can hand out. Thank you JKC!

Hey thank you beautiful Japanese brother and sister in the Lord! I hope you keep this series going. I just wanted to clarify something I noticed. In Japanese, "yaku" could mean "translation" (訳) or "contract/covenant" (約). In 旧約聖書(Kyuuyaku Seisho) and 新約聖書 (Shinyaku Seisho), the "yaku" is "contract/covenant". It can be confusing because there is a Japanese Bible translation called 新改訳聖書(Shinkaiyaku Seisho) where the "yaku" means "translation".　Shinyaku Seisho and Shinkaiyaku Seisho are different by just one syllable, but two characters are actually different. I get this mixed up too sometimes and I see the interview was pretty ad lib, so I loved the interview regardless. Please keep on keeping for the Lord!

I want to know which is correct to say in Japanese “ON THE CROSS “ JUJIKA JO” or JUJIKA NO UE NI”? I never learned “ JO” only UE NI!
