Could use some more visuals and actual examples. Still have no idea what a content type is, other than "a way to group and organize things" which 7 other videos have also said 😂.

Great explanation...but the real challenge is getting users to understand this and use content types. Even if you turn off folder creation, they could still do it if they are syncing a library to File Explorer AFAIK.

Very true. I find it's necessary to work with the site owners, in a group session if necessary, to explain how metadata-based structures help them, mention the 5,000 item limit, and show how powerful it is in a search-based interface. The interface usually sells the new approach if nothing else does.
