When Joe said, our relationship has gone up another level, sleeping in the same room as your parents.I laughed so much , and then when he said goodnight to Mark, in the same room.

So nice to go around "traveling" with you -- I haven't been able to do much of that in the last couple of years, obviously. The Italian side of the family seems soooo sweet & warm -- it makes me miss my extended family & all are get-togethers growing up. ❤️ Thanks for sharing!

Such a lovely vlog!! ☺The flower is a Scarlet Trumpet Vine (Amphilophium Buccinatorium) I think they're native to South America so could grow here they like temperatures between 0°C - 27 °C or can grow indoors in a conservatory or in a greenhouse. The growing seasons tend to be between March to September. 🌺✨

Trumpet Vine and Bougainvillea 😊 Don't worry if they don't grow in the UK, there's so many great flowers that we can grow here

Literally just came back from Sicily yesterday morning. We were so disappointed by the rubbish and mess. We went to Taormina on our last day there and the difference compared to Catania was shocking. The city was so much cleaner and taken care of, we were relieved to see that not all of Sicily is the same. Also did a hike up the top of Mount Etna and it was one of the most amazing experiences ever.

This warms my heart watching this video. My family are from Slovakia so I would love to visit all the places my parents and family grew up in and take that experience with me. Italy looks so beautiful and I’m so happy Dianne and her mum got to see where Dianne’s pop grew up ❤️. My parents moved to australia for a better life. Love these vlogs Joe. Also they’re so hilarious 😆.

loved this vlog! so lovely to see you explore italy. the plant is a trumpet vine/bignonia of some sort (i had no idea but my dad has a botany degree so i asked him lol) but yeah not sure it would do so well in a uk climate!

Hi Joe and Dianne - great Vlog. We can do this in the UK - my family does it often. We all get together for a big family open air meet-up. We don't plan it too far in advance (due to the weather) but we all keep an eye on the weather forecast then change plans if needed. Even during the lockdown, we still met up for family 'picnics' and socially distanced get together's. Where there's a will, there's a way.

It's both really nice and a bit weird seeing you guys walk around in my hometown. Really hope you enjoyed it here! If you ever come back, I hope you get to experience an eruption 😃🌋

Joe, sleeping earplugs are soft and very comfortable if you ever end up camping out with Dianne's parents again. You can still hear an alarm but it cuts down on background noise. What a wholesome adventure. 😊

I think the flowers were 'trumpet flowers'. I don't really know the English translation, but at least in The Netherlands we call them that. My parents have them in their garden so I think you could give it a go too!
