I love Lulu Mayo books!! My favorite one is a Million magical creatures. Your pages are beautifull and all the combinations you used. When I want to color a page in one day I choose Lulu Mayo books!!😊

Very excited to see this video. I haven't even seen a page yet, but I'm already loving it! You do such beautiful work in these books and I love seeing seeing you work on them. They inspire me to work more in mine. I only have 3 right now. I really enjoy using water mediums in them, but the paper can definitely be challenging. It really helps to see your process. Looking forward to more WIPs in them, or maybe someday another color along (in Sea Creatures)? 😊
Really love all your lulu mayo pages. I also just recently got two of her books and absolutely fell in love with the illustrations they are so cute and positive and I love coloring in it if I don't want to color something "serious".
Your pages are just amazing I have a few of these books I think they are adorable but I hardly ever touch them I dislike the paper so much I will try water base markers I’m not good with markers but it’s worth a try ! Thanks for the inspiration ❤
I saw this morning this video and I was already happy before I watched it 😆 Such adorable pages. What a shame that some books doesn't take water mediums. I've heard that the UK editions is much better then the US editions. I only have one book of Lulu Mayo (UK edition) and the paper is wonderful so I can't confirm the theory. Thanks for sharing!
I have an English edition of one of her books and the paper is far too smooth for me. I don't like the paper at all. (for my colored pencils) In the French editions, for example, the paper has a bit more tooth. That works quite well. I thought I was crazy, because at first it didn't occur to me that the paper could be different. (As a beginner) I love her illustrations they are not too big and so much fun.💕
Great pages. For the books printed in Canada, how do you use water based markers on them? I have tried Crayola super tips (both direct on paper and using an aquabrush + palette) but I found that in both cases, there is visible ghosting on the back pages.
