Hey eveyone!! I hope you enjoyed window shopping with me. I was very hesitant to share this one because I know many of these puzzles are higher in price. However, one of my goals for my channel is to try new brands that you may not have heard of and that may be me purchasing them and trying brands that are out of people's price ranges. You know I love to thrift and try to find inexpensive puzzles. So this was fun to just dream a little and share puzzles I have been interested in. Hope you'll get it. Side Note: I do have a new Amazon Storefront!! I'll be updating it and setting things up. But in the meantime I do have a single link so you can see all of the puzzles from this video that are currently available on Amazon. (This does give me a small commission) amzn.to/44Y6SE8
Have you tried d.bored Puzzles? I've done several from their 300 piece count anime series such as Chainsaw Man, Spy x Family, Haikyu!! and Jujutsu Kaisen. I'm not into anime but I Iove puzzles. Got all of them from Five Below. Really good quality puzzles especially for $5US. I've paid more for puzzles that weren't as good at these.
Do not get Yazz, they do AI art work that is horrible once you see the puzzle up close. If you look at the Colorful Forest closely, one of the animals is missing a head. It is sad because the quality of the pieces is similar to Magnolia.
There are very few places near me that sell puzzles and those that do have a very limited selection. Even their online selection is limited. So I'm always windows shopping. Some Ravensburger puzzles, especially their large format, are always on my wish list. Since they are expensive I have to wait for them to go on sale. Currently Ravensburger's Planetarium 500 Piece Large Format and Artist’s Palette 500 Piece Large Format are on my wish list. Recently Northern Lights, Seaside Sunshine, Cats and Succulents and Circle of Colors: Astrology were on sale and I ordered them. Several Buffalo Games puzzles include Sailing on The Wind are on my wish list. I'm hoping I can find some them locally which is usually less expensive than ordering.
@@thecasualpuzzler You're the reason I know about it!😃 I'm hoping the price will drop.🤞 The price of some Ravensburger puzzles have dropped recently not but Artist Palette and Planetarium yet. 😥
I just loved the Alchemist Cabinet and everything in that series! I have a weird attraction to mushroom puzzles too. That was actually the topic of my PW blog post in May!
I love the eeBoo puzzles! Got the alchemist’s cabinet and alchemist’s home in my collection. Love the alchemist line so much. Hope to complete it one day😀
I recently did Aimee Stewart's library puzzle as a 1500 piece Ravensburger and it was really difficult. Like you, I thought the colours would be quite easy to separate, but all the pieces looked the same 😂
Ordinary Habit puzzles are awesome! Worth the investment. The boxes are magnetic, comes with drawstring bag, pieces are velvety, and lock into place. Mother - Daughter owners who give back. Highly recommend!
I used to only puzzle during the holidays and would grab whatever was cheapest from my local Winco grocery store, Buffalo was a splurge. What does it say about me now that I not only almost always spend less than those puzzles used to cost me (I mostly thrift, but I do buy new here and there if an image calls to me enough or there is a reasonable sale on Amazon), but I've also become a major puzzle snob? I won't do Buffalo anymore because I just don't enjoy the feel of the puzzles, though I have a handful of Aimee Stewarts that I can't part with just yet...because Ravensburger doesn't manufacture every AS artwork (the audacity! lol) and Buffalo is much more prolific. If you feel like a splurge and are open to a happy medium between the 1k and 2k Buffalo options if you ever really want to do the library puzzle, Ravensburger has it in 1500 pieces...I got it on sale a few weeks back from Amazon. I believe they call it 'The Grand Library'. I'm actually cross-stitching a crop from the Mushroom puzzle. There is a similar vibe one of fairies and butterflies that Ravensburger is releasing in 4k in October (there are 2 4k ones listed on Amazon and AFIK they are the first 4k piece stand-alones they've done...the 40k ones are 10x4k but obviously not the same as a single 4k image). I'll probably buy it. I think the size is warranted for the detail. I'm an AS fangirl.
That's great you have a lot of thrifting options! I know many of my viewers don't so I always like to provide affordable puzzle brands that are out there. I've enjoyed Buffalo Games in the past and have enjoyed them. Ravensburger is one of my faves too.
I wanted to get some of the Eeboo Alchemist puzzles myself but the one I really liked - Kitchen of The Alchemist - was AU$60 from Amazon Australia which is a bit more than I like to spend on a 1000 piece puzzle. Maybe I'll treat myself to an early Chrissie Pressie...😁
I want the new Richard Scarry puzzle Cars and Trucks by Blue Kazoo. It’s so bright and colorful and is exactly like those beautiful books I had as a kid. ❤️ I love this video of wishes that you did. So many puzzles to think about.
I just finished the eeBoo Alchemist Library a few days ago. The Alchemeist Home was one of my favorites of the year so far so had to try rest and the Alchemist Cabinet is in my cart!
Just a quick question Emilee. I posted a comment and no longer see it anymore. I was asking if you wanted to do a Puzzle Collaboration. Not sure if RU-vid blocked the comment. If your not interested that's OK. Have a good day. Glenn.
I never saw a comment from you. Thanks for thinking of me! I have a lot on my plate right now and am pretty booked through the summer, but email me near the fall!
Puzzles Canada is a place you should have a wishlist too! Very simple to see US prices and quick shipping to US also. Plus excellent rewards program! Many similar brands to the more specialty ones you like. I’ve have excellent service with them and prices usually come in less than US retail.
About how much are fees (customs, taxes, duties, etc.)? I have you ever had you order held up in US customs? I've never ordered puzzles a company outside the US.
@@jmason1770 from what little I know, for things like puzzles that are not considered a Commercial shipment, shipments from Canada under $800 are Duty Free. It’s super easy to order from there and I personally haven’t had issue with things being held, but sometimes the tracking changes companies so it might be hard either before or after the border to see the step by steps. But I’ve ordered from Puzzle Canada which is closer to the eastern side and have gotten it within 7-10 days here in Washington.
Definitely gave me new puzzles to add to my own wishlist!! Is it possible, next time, to add the name of the puzzle on the screen at the same time as the artwork? I like to take a screenshot for my reference, but its a lil hard when the art and name aren't together.
Hi, I did 300 piece "Up, Up, and Away" by Buffalo Games. Love it! I love "Dreams" by Ravens and all the Alchemists puzzles. Thanks for showing new brands.
I just did my first Magnolia puzzle and fell in love with the brand! I have a puzzle similar to 'House on a Tree' from ENJOY Puzzles I think you would like called 'Fairy Tale Houses' also by Annmei. It was a super fun image to do!
I splurged and bought the Antelope Cat Castle puzzle and the Crystal Caves puzzle from the Magic Puzzle Company. I have the first 3 in the series but have only done one so far. They’re so cool! I love the hot air balloon one and the Eboo ones too. And I love the Buffalo games too. I’m regretting starting the one I’m doing now. It has fur! And a blurry artist palette. Only 750 pieces. I do like this kind of video!
I was able to pick up an Ordinary Habits puzzle at a puzzle exchange recently, and while it was very lovely, the high cost has kept me from buying one. I think a lot of the cost goes into the packaging. The pieces are soft touch and very similar to Art & Fable or the Piecely puzzles made in Poland.
This was a fun video! I really liked the eeBoo apothecary puzzles. Personally, I’m glad you don’t spend a lot of time focusing on the super pricy brands and huge piece counts. I’m not likely to buy them and other RU-vidrs already feature those. Your content seems more unique.
I window shop all the time and have wish lists too!!!! But there is something driving me crazy-the 1,000 count puzzle on top of the pile with the little cord wrapped around it. It looks so pretty, and I’d like to do that puzzle myself! What is it called? Would you believe I’m still sorting that silly squirrel puzzle? I try to do some after chemo trips, but now it’s even more slow going after getting a sinus/upper respiratory infection on top of everything else. I look at the table and see a bunch of disembodied squirrels!!!! But, I’ll get it done. Hopefully, I’ll be on a different puzzle soon. Keep puzzling Emilee! Thank you.😊
I’m only 5 minutes into this video and I already put 2 puzzles on my own wishlist 🫣 (circle of colors dreams and the harry potter advent calendar, happily they are also available here in the Netherlands)
