Why wouldn’t you be open to criticism? I’ll hand it to you though. Most people won’t come straight out and admit that they can’t handle criticism. At least you’re self aware about it
I have been raised in church. I believe in God. He IS the Lord of lords and king of kings. As I watched this video, I felt the spirit. Has anyone ever told you, that you are called to preach? I felt it and I can see you being a preacher. Thank you for that messege. ❤🙏
I appreciate you watching my friend 🙂 I almost wanted to be pastor when I attended college. I didn't go through with it because I wasn't all in with Jesus at the time. I don't think I need to lead a church. I will leave my preaching and sharing my love for Jesus when I'm out in public or when I post a vlog 🙂.
I don't understand how anyone can see the truth about Christianity, about the bible, and then run back to mama's teats. I will say I missed the community aspect after getting out, but not enough to forget or simply overlook the truth. I looked for maybe churches that didn't mention the bible or any of that so much like Quakers or UU, but that didn't work for me. If you had performed an HONEST research effort into Christianity's failings and then decided to jump back in, I feel for you. You're worse off than I am, and I lost 40 YEARS to that mess. You won't admit to deconstructing (I don't either - I feel like that's like saying "a little bit pregnant" and appeals to Millennials who need a box to shove themselves in on socials). You call it "stepping away and questioning." Well, then the quality of your "questioning" is then the issue. If you didn't commit to following the truth by looking at it all honestly, by actually holding it up to the light, but only delved into apologists and Christian sources, then of course, you went back. Church hurt, unmet expectations - that's NOT deconstructing. Actually looking at the history, the scholarship, the bible contradictions, the purely insane things like talking snakes, talking donkeys and talking inflammable shrubbery - that is when you can say you've questioned. Just questioning your own MOTIVES - nah, bruh.
I appreciate your comment Jenna. I'll do my best to have a response for you. I have studied other faiths when I questioned and walked away from God. I almost considered being a Buddhist because I wanted to find the pure balance of life. I struggled with balance because I was considering letting God go because it wasn't working out and I was hurt by the church and religious people. I read the whole Bible and personally I didn't see any contradictions, I saw more of a completed story. A book for all people the Jew and the Gentile. When it comes to talking animals like the Donkey speaking to Baalum. Isn't amazing that our God has unlimited power that He could make the animals talk? Honestly for all I know animals probably communicated with humans before the fall of man. But that's not for me to decide. My motive was to share if we had Jesus and He is legit in our lives or we just gave up on Him period and disregarding everything what the Lord has done for us. It's either you're a Christian or you weren't even when you thought you were. I don't have all the answers, that's where faith comes in too. When I meet Jesus face to face I'm for certain we'll know everything. 😊 Thanks for your comment.
You are so seriously wrong.. People can be true believers but then stop believing.. Most children are true believers in Santa but then realize that they have been deceived...
On contraire. There's no evidence of Santa Claus. Santa Claus was however, based on a mixture of Catholicism of St Nicholas and Norse mythology. The only deception of Jesus Christ is bad representation from churches and leaders. Satan is the ultimate deceiver. More and more evidence is coming out of the existence of Jesus Christ and everything that's been said in the Old Testament. It's how one decides to accept the evidence and accept that there is a true God out there. My opinion if believers and Christians would like to raise their children with Santa Claus. They need to explain that Santa Claus who's Santa Claus really is. I can see why children get disappointed when they find out there is no Santa Claus in the association with Jesus Christ. It needs to be explained a lot better to the children if we're going to raise children in the way of Christ.
@mr.nomadben7109 I have no issue with the concept of a dead rabbi named Jesus who lived two thousand years ago. I don't necessarily need much more evidence for that. What I would need is extraordinary evidence to demonstrate the validity of all the miracle and supernatural claims of Jesus and the rest of the Bible. Anyone can take old testament scriptures and repurpose them to fit their life or narrative. Lots of cult leaders do this as well. Lots of people apparently did this on behalf of Jesus post humously. None of these things I find to be sufficient enough evidence to demonstrate the existence of a god or supernatural aspects of the Jesus you claim.
@@Marcusmarcb0tI I appreciate your comment and your thoughts. Let me share mine with you. The Bible is one of many oldest documents known to man. These books contained eyewitnesses that saw these things Happen. What do you really need to see to make sure that this comes from Jesus and our God of the universe when things are being brought to light. Evidence is being shown to us all the time. The chariots of Pharaoh's army is at the bottom of the red sea. Sodom and Gomorrah has been found. Noah's ark is up in the mountain ranges of Mt Ararat. Have you may have thought that people that hate Christ would like to corrupt his word? Jesus knew was going to happen. That's where Faith comes in as well. Being in America do we believe that George Washington crossed the Delaware? The forts that represented all the big battles throughout history of america. There's the evidence but how do I really know that such men and people existed? Because It has been documented. Same thing with the existence of Christ and everything that's been going on in the Bible. It has been documented. It's a matter of how you respond to the evidence of the existence of Christ and the word of God as a whole. The Bible is not only a book for humanity but it's also a historical document that tells us a story from start of humanity and the end of humanity. It's all about how we respond to Jesus Christ God our Father. I hope one day things will come clear to you my friend. God bless you. ☺️
