Thankful your dad is better. My husband had a heart attack in 2014. He was only 53. He was on the “cardiac diet” for 3 yrs (while on preventive heart meds, HBP, statin, and metformin for blood sugar. I started keto 3 yrs ago, losing 130lbs and 1 yr later my husband started keto, losing 60lbs and coming off his meds. We both continue keto and maintain our weight and his cardiologist is in awe of my husbands labs. Just giving some hope🥰👍
Watching you and your mom made me about cry. I'm so glad your dad is home and doing much better. I have not experienced any loved one go into the hospital for anything since covid so I don't know how you felt not being able to see him but can imagine it was tramatic. 💓💓🙏🙏

I lost my Daddy just over 2 years ago and my mind went to him and remember how, every time I spoke of him, my eyes would puddle up just like yours did. I watch you every day. My dad had a heart attack last year and it was definitely a scare for our family, so my heart goes out to you. So glad he is doing well and home where he can be showered with love.

I'm so sorry about your dad and am glad he's feeling better. My mom just had a hip replacement and we were only allowed 1 member of our fam to be a "spokesperson" and when that person wasn't there then 1 other person could visit after going through a screening process. We had a hard time with restricted hours so I know how hard it must've been for y'all not being able to visit at all. Your dad is in my thoughts and prayers that he continues to get better. 🙏🙏🙏

Oh, Katherine when you told us about your dad my heart actually dropped to the floor. But he’s home in four days and that’s good! I guess diet changes and walking soon! I told my husband this morning we got to watch for you because you had something going on in your life and we needed to pray for you and I told him I thought it might be your dad I wasn't sure but praise the Lord he's good!!!!!

Aw your daddy. ❤I lost my dad in 2007 (he was 58) after a looooooong battle with Louis Gherig's disease. You are blessed to still have him in your life. Prayers for God to bless him with many more years! 🙏

Im glad you Dad is home and feeling better! My husband had a heart attack a year ago please take the meat out his diet . My husband's cardiologist even stated when I suggested vegetarian that that was the best diet for prolonged life and vegan is even better.

Your mom is so pretty and nice- you are so lucky and bless your Dad- he is probably really glad to be home with you guys. That stew could be keto- use the black soy beans and and carb quick and maybe a potato substitute like boiled radishes? Your stew looks so good- you are a great cook like your mother. I still use her recipe for cranberry salad and the food video she did last years.
