Excellent vids! Nice, flat, farm, too. My farm is in the foothills of the Appalachians in North Carolina (USA). Far too many hills and valleys for vehicle towing, but perhaps winch towing will work with some imagination. I'll probably need to cut down one or two short trees, as well as put in a double gate or two, or just some sort of towline-guides on top of the charged fences. Your landings are good enough, if not great! Nice country you are living in! I bet you are quite handy with your firearms, too, eh?! All your vids are really good!
+SagaSeaCraft Our farm is relatively flat but most of the strip is over small, smooth hills. You can definitely get it to happen. I've heard of people putting "Y" shaped guides on fence lines to guide the rope when towing with good success. I had to put in 3 gates and pull out a fence to put in the two strips at my place. It's worth it though :) But it's nicer flying with other people.
great stuff. I have a shark 144 and love it. looks like you do to. you look like a level 4 here but I think you must be level 2 judging from your other videos. how much experience did you have at this point ? well done.
This is in Australia so our ratings are different. I was intermediate which would be closer the us H3 rating. I think I had about 50 hours or so at this point. I've got much more flying done now :) this shark was far too small for my hook in weight of 95kg and it used to wind in to the right in turns. I now fly a Moyes Litespeed RX 3.5 which is easier and faster to fly.
