@@swskitso their problem is they essentially built the raft sideways. The direction of build/travel is supposed to be in line with the direction of the raft pieces.
@@hardenedvictory it seems the issue is that each of the items sail, rudder, and motor are used to steer the raft and aren't meant to be on the same raft. they have essentially put too many steering wheels onto their vehicle. though this is speculation based on previous builds of this game.
“Neebs……..where’s Sally?” Lonngggg pause, Neebs produces Sally “Oh thank God.” This whole scene had me laughing harder than I have in a long time. The chemistry and comedic timing are on point.

When Ada's editing is so good, you can't tell if the map neebs pulled up is a gameplay feature part of the game, or her magic editing powers. In fact I'm still not sure
It's legit a map Neebs has been drawing at the desk as they play, and I gussied it up a bit. 😉 The only map in-game is... on the main menu before loading in... for some reason.
I absolutely loved the lifesaver commercial in there. The commitment to delivering on your scenes is what makes Neebs the greatest channel in the world and the Goddess the greatest editor in the world 🙏
As a middle aged gamer dad myself I was about to go nuts trying to remember wth that commercial was for and the goddess knew and immediately quenched my nostalgia with the ditrtiest of humor haha, lovely.
Love this series. The Appsro/Neebs chemistry (anti-chemistry?) is strong here, and the editing and extras make it a joy to watch! Love how Ada puts 150% into everything she tackles.

I like the love/hate relationship between these two. Appsro may not take responsibility for disasters or show appreciation for what Neebs does, but by the end of the story, they gonna make some sweet sweet love.

Love the series. You can get your map at the title screen. I just took a picture of it with my phone. Helps a ton so you don't visit the same island when you get turned around. Compass and remembering your starter island because it's in the middle helps as well.
9:15 got a damn good laugh when appsro turns to neebs and says drop the log with the pause and the log drop seeing if neebs would listen, then just after impatient neebs brings the log on the boat loosing both his log and meg. HAHAHAHH! Been watching you guys since my early 20's prob longer lost count, but you guys never get old!!!
At the start Needs climbs the rock face and could not see anything but you can find bird nests with egg's in them. Not sure if they are on every single island but 100% can find bird egg's and they are a food source. Great episode though 👏

Haha I love Ada's editing with this one, muffling the music under water and regular sounding when they're out of it, then start bobbing up and down so having to edit the music. I know that must've been fun 😂
Guys something is annoying me since the last Stranded Deep episode. Spin your sail so it faces the front of the raft and make sure your rudder and motor are on the back of the raft. The raft will turn a little easier. Awesome content, love you guys.
You need to search every small island (no big rocks) for potatoes. They will be in the middle part and hard to find. That is how you get Gas for the engine and the plane.
Love how Ada did the whole map thing; it really makes it fun. Also, loved that bit where Appsro asked if Neebs lost Sally, then he took her out after a long pause. Also, that bit with the lifesaver commercial was just too funny.
I love this video a lot, nice an funny. A tip for the both of y'all though is that the Sail can't rotate, so pay attention to the direction the sail is rotating when building it
I remember in flight training; doing 3 hours of nothing but take offs and landings about 5 hours into primary training. After it clicked for me, landings just became "gliding to the ground". So, he's not wrong. 😂
You’ll need potatoes for making fuel. No other way to get it. That’s the easy part. You’ll need to find 2 Jerry cans, one for the gas still and one for transferring the fuel.

As a pilot student, I can somewhat agree to appsro's words about piloting There's too much old and out of subject nonsense we have to learn that actually isn't gonna help with flying lol

there is a map..its in cartographer in the starting menu..and the island you are on will appear red on the map..it also show 4 points of interest one of which you found was the carrier.
Being certified on an r44 and r22, helicopters aside, landings take the most skill. "Fly off" takeoff- 10min. Flight- landing/parking. Banter is gold gentleman

I started playing this again because of this series and let me say I've not felt such terror/anxiety in a long time playing a video game when I learned sharks can knock you off your little raft 😂 I had to stop playing for a bit
I did the exact same thing. Decided to make a long trip to a new island that looked better and kept getting knocked off the first raft. Made it but just barely. Lol
If they fix the plane like they built the raft, both wings will be on the same side, the engine will be in the tail, and the rudder pedals will be put on the propellers.
Hey guys. Love the series. The problem with your steering on the raft is because you put your steering/rudder on the side of the raft. Put it on the back of the raft and your problems will be solved. Just thought I would let you know even though I love hearing you get pissed at the raft and neebs. LOL
Not only is the rudder in the wrong spot so doesnt work correctly but now the motor is also in the wrong spot... is simon secretly in charge of building that raft
Bow= Hunting Level Bowl= Cooking Level Pickaxe= Mining Level Fist= Strength Saw & Hammer= Crafting Level Also I believe that they added a map but you have to find it, otherwise you have to use the Compass to figure out how to get places
Flight lessons in my area are about $175 an hour and they let you fly on the first lesson. Surprisingly easy to book a lesson..... and landing is the tricky part
