I've owned three Shark Evo helmets. Never had a problem with quality. I still have a 7 year old helmet that I keep in a pinch and the mechanisms still work fine. I recommend it.
@@Championhelmets I started with the Evoline 2 ST (it STILL works fine); then the Evoline 3 ST. I currently have the Evo One 2...and it's the best so far!
That is going to be a good purchase for that amount of money. Though we don't know the circumstances, it's still always good to be aware of deals that may be too good to be true when it comes to helmets. Either way, if you're unsure about the value for money of the helmet itself, then we've actually tested it out on the road and ranked it according to actual data that we collected. Using this ranking, we calculated the helmet's Euro/star ranking at about 24, which means it effectively balances price with performance and features. If you're curious to see how the helmet's data and performance, you can check out our data driven road test here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1gmdlc6R_kM.html Thanks for the question! What are your thoughts on the Evo One 2 helmet?
I emailed shark's support, because the sharktooth bluetooth compatibility list doesn't show the evo-one 2 as supported, and they confirmed it isn't. How are they selling both together?
Hello, I am not sure what you have heard from Shark but on their website it is shown as being Sharktooth ready. Also in our review of the Sharktooth we actually installed it into an Evo One 2 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VqEoVzqTrQk.html You can see that at seven minutes into the video. Hope this helps!
@@MrJojo2go Apparently it had to do with the installation invalidating the certification due to location of the hardware. Anyway, i'm looking at the new Evo One ES now, and a cardo packtalk because of sound quality.
I have an Evo One 2, size Medium. The cheeks are too tight. I've seen that the cheek pieces are replacable but I've also seen that I can only add the original size due to snap placements in different size shells. Can I get & install thinner cheek pads? If yes, which size should I buy?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the cheek pads of the Evo One 2 to a different size, only the new Shark Evo GT offers this. However, it may also be that the helmet still needs to be broken in further. Thanks for the question! What are your thoughts on the Shark helmet?
Based on our road test results, both would come in at about a tie since both came in at about the same noise level while the Airoh offered stronger ventilation. However, from a quality perspective, we would tend towards the Shark helmet. If you're curious, you can check out our data on the Airoh Rev19 here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iS355u3DkC8.html And you can check out the Evo One 2 here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1gmdlc6R_kM.html If you're looking for the best performing 180 degree modular helmet, we'd also recomment checking out the Shark EVO GT, which is the radically improved successor to the Evo One 2 that easily beats the Rev19. You can check out our road test of the helmet here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S2b2trSkTvM.html Thanks for the question! What are your thoughts on the Shark helmet?
Unfortunately, we do not currently stock LS2 helmets and have not had a chance to get our hands on one for testing. Nonetheless, considering the very large vents and the modular construction, we'd expect it to perform at about the same noise level as the Evo One 2, which was an average level of 102-103 dB. You can also check out how the Shark helmet's successor, the EVO ES performed on the road here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RTO5P5pIWDI.html Thanks for the question! What are your thoughts on the two helmets?
The Shark Evo One 2 is approximately 420 Euros, though this may vary according to graphic and bundle deal. Thanks for the question! What do you think of the Shark helmet?
While both helmets are fully retractable modular helmets, we did find the Shark to be of a higher quality. So while they shared similar features, the Shark showed a stronger performance in the liner construction and had one more shell size all at about the same price, so we favored the Shark a bit more. But, to be fair, we ended up finding the Rev-19 did perform well for ventilation. What do you think of the Shark Evo-One 2?
I love this helmet, I've had the Evo one for nearly 4 years, I did a three year video last year showing whats gone wrong ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fPhSz2L3Qy8.html
Hey there! We were hoping to provide a balanced view of the Evo One 2 since it can vary from person to person.
