Very impressive! If I hadn't gotten the Stratos, I would've gotten this one! But even though my Stratos is the new, flagship model, it was cheaper than this Shark! Only $299 right now for the top of the line!

What are you? Nuts? You do NOT do the stairs with the main brush roller. You use the wand with the small pet brush roller attachment. So what you said about being difficult on stairs is ridiculous!
I personally do, I find it cleans much better this way and then going back down with the edging attachment. The exception being if you have the proper motorized/electric brush head, but even then I'd argue that using the main head would have more power.
